The media could not be loaded. This popcorn machine has its pros and cons. First, I must say that I was worried about the build quality as I read many reviews that stated that the machine cracks easily or was received cracked. Thankfully mine arrived packaged well and in great shape! It is plastic, so I can see how it could possibly crack, but so far this has not been an issue. If it does crack in the future I will update my review. Now for the pros and cons:Pros:- The machine is compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It can easily be kept on a kitchen counter which is nice.- It comes with a plastic tray to catch the popcorn which makes removing the popcorn very easy and helps to keep the machine clean which I really like.-The kettle is stainless steel and is not coated with teflon that can scrape off over time from the stirring mechanism like many of the other similar machines that I researched which can be unsafe to use.-Comes in 4 fun colors to choose from! (Black, Red, Pink, & Blue)-Although the “warming light” really doesn’t warm the popcorn, I do like that it has a light that lights up the machine. Many other similar size machines do not come with lights at all.-This machine has the handle to empty the kettle on the outside of the machine which I really like, and helps to eliminate burning yourself vs. many others where the handle is on the inside.-Makes great tasting popcorn that you just cannot get from microwave or air popped popcorn.Cons:-While the plastic housing of the machine is simple enough to clean with a damp cloth or paper towel the kettle itself does not come apart and it is a little tricky to clean. Especially because you have to take great care not to submerge it in water.-Removing and installing the kettle can be a little tricky to do. It has to be lined up just right and while it is doable. I feel it could be a little easier than it is.-I’ve noticed a few unpopped kernels that fly out while popping. Not a huge deal, I think some can be expected with these types of kettle poppers. Overall most of the popcorn does pop though.-This machine is small and only makes enough popcorn for one or two people. For me it’s fine since I’m the only one in my household that eats it, but not so ideal for more than two people.-While not a deal breaker, the machine did not come with the popcorn bags as advertised.Overall I do like the aesthetics of the popcorn machine, it looks great in my movie room! I do wish the kettle were easier to clean though. But with that said, the machine makes great popcorn and I am for the most part happy with it.I bought this machine along with everything needed to make authentic movie theater popcorn and it turned out really good!2 tbsps. of Butter Flavored Coconut popping oil.1/2 teaspoon Of Flavacol Popcorn Salt1/3 cup of Popcorn KernelsWhen finished I top it off with the buttery popcorn topping to taste.All can be purchased from Amazon! It wasn't too hard to put together, although there seemed to be mistakes in the directions. Once it's put together is easy to use. I think warming the oil up, for 1-2 minutes before adding popcorn is advisable if using coconut oil. It's great to make popcorn for watching movies at home. Clean-up is not difficult but could be made easier. The pan that holds the popcorn and oil is a little difficult to get to for cleanup, although it is removable. All in all, a blast to have!

I was so excited when I got my popcorn machine that I didn't even inspect it first. The popcorn tasted incredible just like actual theater popcorn. The one little thing I didn't like about the making process was that the "HEAT LAMP" gave almost no heat off. No more than an actual element light bulb would. After only one use and very happy with a taste of my popcorn I began to clean it. Upon cleaning it I found many little defects including cellophane over the decorative checkered pattern witch when peeled pulled off some of the white checkers which after seeing that I noticed they were not even correctly applied. Also they were pits and small cracks from the inside of a glass about where the popcorn tray would be. I'm not sure if they were caused from the heat of the fresh popcorn or if they were there prior. I am concerned with the little crack that is there but not too concerned being that it's mostly cosmetic.It seems I'll call while the chief of my complaints are mostly about the Cosmetic conditions of the machine the performance of it was excellent after a two-minute preheat 5 minutes after inserting the kernels and oil the popcorn began to pop immediately understand why you. While the heat lamp gave off no heat the popcorn did still have a theater taste thanks to the oil and salts used. If the heat lamp had worked The Taste would have been better allowing the popcorn to dry immediately just like it does at the movie theater. The next day the popcorn that was left smelt incredible. After drying and allowing the salt to soak in it gave it the exact same taste and smell as a movie theater!I had high expectations for this product as I thought it was completely American made. However after finding out it's actually made in China I'm not surprised with a cosmetic quality. If I could I would give this product three and a half Stars instead four stars, but since the taste of the popcorn was so great and clean the machine is so easy I'll go ahead and round up to a 4-star rating.
