There are pros and cons with this machine.Pros:It makes the ice in the time claimedIt is compact and easily placed on kitchen worktopEasy to useInstructions are clearCons:I found it to be excessively noisy and not as quiet as claimedBy the time the ice bucket was full (not too long) the first batch were rapidly melting so transferring to a container in the freezer meant they all melded togetherI could not see any discernible difference in the 2 sizes of ice producedOverall it was a disappointing buy
