Easy Auto Plant Watering System
Got these to auto water plants while travelling. The two pack is nice for plants in different areas or if you want two spikes per plant & have lots of plants. The tubing is easy to cut & push onto the spikes, making setup quite simple. There was plenty of tubing which was nice. The spikes aren't really drip heads but rather just a way to funnel the water from the tube as droplets into the soil. So there's no adjusting of the amount of water at the spike. The controller is simple enough to operate & setup timing to your specific needs (manual, auto, timed ranges). The water intake has a filter around it to prevent debris from clogging the line. The anti-siphon is easy enough to put in-line to prevent backflow. Just add it in-line with the water output so that it would drip back into the water supply or into another catch bucket.I set up one controller to water 6 plants (3 each in two rows) with two spikes each with a main line down the middle & feeding 2 spikes to each plant. The controller easily pumped water to all plants at the same rate whether the first spike or the last spike. While I'm pretty happy with both units & how they work, there are a couple of things that would make this even better though might make the cost go up. The tubing is not the standard 1/4" drip line so finding more tubing, connectors or tees, if needed, could be an issue. It's possible that the pump might need to be stronger if 1/4" tubing were used. Also, it would have been nice to have the dripper spikes be adjustable (like a drip emitter) rather than using 2-3 per plant but again might require stronger pump. Lastly, there are no stop plugs or connectors included just Tee joiners. Adding a few stop plugs & a couple connectors wouldn't cost much and be helpful when you need to remove a plant but don't want to reconfigure everything or just need to connect two pieces of tubing. All in all, happy to have my plants auto watered easily while I'm away and would recommend.

Perfect to water plants when you go on vacation.
We used this to water our house plants once a week while we were on vacation. We put them in a bathroom with a sun tunnel in the ceiling. The plants were noticeably healthier when we got home than when we were watering them ourselves! Maybe because my wife put a little little fertilizer in the jug that was holding the water. The unit comes with a very long length of flexible tubing, so connecting up to 8 plants was easy. Plenty of tubing to spare. For the larger plants we just used two watering stakes instead of one. It's easy enough to program, just test it out before leaving on vacation, as we initially did all the programming, but forgot to switch it into the "on" position.

Perfect if you need a quick getaway and don't have someone to take care of your plants.
This is an amazingly simple and quick system to set up. Literally five minutes to connect 10 leads to the drip tube and then to my flower pots, and 30 seconds to program. This system requires a water supply source. I bought a 7-gallon camping water jug ($15 @Walmart, sorry Amazon) and it gives me a week of hands-free water for my plants. Timer holds a charge for about three weeks.

Reliable on Schedule Mode – Moisture Sensor Could Be Better
I've been interested in a self-watering system for my houseplants for years, but never actually went through with buying one, until recently. After looking through a few options, I finally decided on this Automatic Plant Waterer. Overall, I’m really happy with the purchase. The battery seems to last a long time, though I can't say exactly how long, since I’m now using the scheduled watering mode. I switched over to that after running into some issues with the sensor. At first, I relied solely on the sensor for automatic watering, but I noticed it wasn’t activating even when the soil was completely dry. The screen still showed the status as “wet.” Resetting the device, turning it off and on, would temporarily fix the problem, but it kept happening. After having to reset it several times, I didn’t want to risk my plants, so I moved to the schedule setting instead. It took some trial and error to figure out how long the watering sessions needed to be. I realized it takes about 30 minutes every two weeks to match the amount of water I usually give with a watering can. Since the system only allows for a maximum 7-day schedule, I split that into 15 minutes per week. So far, this method has proven to be much more reliable than the sensor. One small downside is the permanently attached one-inch sensor cable, which now just hangs there unused. Also, the diameter of the included screw heads was nearly the same as the mounting holes, which made wall installation a bit difficult. I might give the sensor another shot sometime, especially since the seller recently sent me more detailed instructions.Speaking of the seller, I have to say I’m incredibly impressed with the customer service. I honestly can’t remember the last time a seller was this responsive and proactive about helping resolve an issue. I really appreciate that!
