Shure by Gator Round Base Desktop Mic Stand with Standard Height-Adjustable Twist Clutch and 6" Base; (SH-DESKTOP1)

I saw a lot of reviews saying this stand was too tall, and they were right. It puts the mic too high if you’re sitting at a normal desk. However, it’s still solid and works well. You just need to tilt the mic downward to get a better angle. Not perfect, but with a small adjustment, it does the job.

It's sturdy, high quality, and have a very nice black finish. Held my Shure sm7bd very well, didn't bend nor shake at the screw with the mic. The only thing that shakes is the base, but the center of gravity is always within the base so it won't tip over unless you push it very hard to one side. Would recommend 10/10

I produced an indie podcast, and it came in handy, when we had a 3rd talking head. Did its job. Nothing more to say.

This microphone stand is too tall to record anything comfortably at a standing desk, which is unfortunate because I love everything else about it. It's sturdy and looks great... it's just simply unusable. Check your measurements.

Sturdy and well made. I wish I could make it go lower but it still gets the job done!

It's a nice stand, but I hate that I can't lower the height of it and that I can only raise it. The microphone stand is just too tall to have it on a desk. This is definitely more for having it set on a table.

Quality mic stand, but the height is a bit too tall for a sitting desk.

Solid, dense, could not hear any banging and typing because of the heavy vibration absorbing ring on the base.
