MieleOriginal Replacement Suction Hose for Miele Vacuum Cleaners, Gray

I bought this product to replace the original one that broke after many years of use. This product fits the vacuum perfectly. In fact, the material is much more flexible and easier to use than the original. Buying replacement products online can be hit or miss and this is definitely a hit.

The original "Miele" hose that came with the C1 unit, SUCKED, literally and figuratively. It was super light weight, was constantly collapsing each time it kinked, and was what I considered, too cheap to last. The fact that I got about 4 years out of it before it cracked in two places was amazing, considering that I gave it about 6 months from the date of purchase. This new hose is dramatically better in every way. It is heavier in quality, giving the strength necessary to survive for years. The attachment ends are redesigned to fit more tightly, reducing suction leaks. It is better in every way from the original hose. Miele fixed a problem that they knew they had and did a good job. Do not hesitate to buy this replacement, but make sure that it is from MIELE, not a knock off. You can get one of those from another vendor, so be careful!

This looks a little different from the original hose on our Miele C1, but it matches the photos of the replacement hoses at their website. It feels slightly heftier. Time will tell if the newer design is as good as the original, better, or worse.The price seems high to me, hoses for other brands are around half the price. But at least Miele is no longer using slave labor to manufacture torpedoes and landmines, like they famously were in the 1940s.

First, I bought a non Miele part from Ez something something. Do not recall the company, but it was a waste of plastic. The pipe was seeping air and made a lot of noise and had an incredibly great ability to tangle up and knot so the air flow would get blocked each time. I got so annoyed, I began to hate the process of vacuuming even more than I have before. Not good- house gets dirtier and everyone procrastinates on cleaning the house. I decided I will search for Miele part and this one fit Olympus 300. There was some confusion about the fit but I was so annoyed with this fake part so I just gambled and got this. 100% improvement! It’s the perfect length- not too long or short- no tangling. No sucking in air. It is working as if I just got the new vacuum!!! And it was only few bucks more than the fake junk part I got (also on Amazon). It was too late to return so I might use it as a French drain somewhere since it was sucking in so much air. Lol

These replacements are not as thick? Stiff? As the original Miele hoses. But it works.

I am extremely pleased with my replacement hose. The suction power is just as good as my original hose.This was a very good value for the money and a lot cheaper than buying a new Miele vac.
