Got my 1978 amp working again!
I love my old Kenwood amp, but it was long overdue for service. The volume knob crackled when turned, the right channel cut in and out, and overall the sound just wasn’t what it used to be. I searched high and low for someone who could open it up and do the work and replace parts if needed. I was even willing to pay a good amount to have it properly serviced, but no one was willing to take on the job.I was ready to give up on it… but figured I’d take one last shot myself. Thanks to YouTube, I learned how to safely open the unit, avoid the capacitors, and identify the key components. I picked up this contact cleaner and went to work, blasting out all the switches and rotary contacts. And—voilà! The amp sounds just as good as it did when I first bought it. I am honestly amazed.

Useful for locks, fishing reels & firearms. Just about anything that moves or pivots.
This is an excellent DRY contact cleaner and lubricant. Because it is dry it does not attract dust or grime to form a sludge that must at some later date be cleaned up again.

A must if youre cleaning electronics!
I had a few xbox and playstation controllers that had slight squeaks when pressing the triggers, this lubricated the triggers perfectly, let alone it dries up extremely quick so liquid doesn't linger around on your PCB boards. Definitely a must for any gear / electronic head. 5 stars. Give it up to wd40 for the options!

A thousand and one uses - and more
I try to keep this contact cleaner on hand because it has pretty much unlimited uses. I bought one can. My ceiling fan was making an irritating grinding noise, I sprayed it, spun it around by hand and left it. The next day no noise. A button on my pinball machine wasn’t working. I sprayed it, worked it a bit and it was good as new. I used it to clean the gunk out of the electronic lock on my front gate before lubricating it. The monitor on one of my Bally Game Maker poker machines had trouble coming on. I sprayed the connector plugs and it works perfectly. I sprayed the bill acceptor in the same machine to clean out years of accumulated gunk. I use it on circuit boards, switches, computer fans and so much more. Yeah, pretty much unlimited uses. I ordered one can and found so many uses for it that it was nearly empty in a week so I ordered two more. It's an excellent electronics/electric cleaner and it drys quickly. However, I do strongly suggest making sure whatever you spray is dry before powering it up. It won’t take long.

It is worth it.
It works finest kind. I have a 25 year old Rascal mobility scooter and I was having problems with the main power plug coming from the battery to the tiller. I shot a couple a quick shots in the plug. Problem solved. Good stuff!
