I keep this in my mud room which is 10x9 feet because it traps the air from other parts of the house since there is no ventilation unless someone opens the door. It works well and I was surprised at how much detritus the filters trapped in just a few days. Like the other reviewer named Randi, I was an idiot too and didn't see the slot for the fragrance pad on the machine. I even looked in the manual and it said nothing about it. The video in this product description shows it. However, I added oil and I can't smell anything. When I look into the slot, I can't see how the air would even access this fragrance pad. Am I doing something wrong?I own other Levoit filters and when I want fragrance, I just put one of those febreze small spaces into the cavity of the main filter and it works great. I would imagine you could also just put this fragrance pad into the cavity and it would work much the same way.

So glag I bought this I really needed something to clean the air in my space I live in a very small studio apt with my cat and I clean her and her litter box often. Whenever I travel then come back home I tend to feel sick like immediately. So I suspected its cause of My Kitty and I love her so much I couldnt bare to seperate from here. I rotate this air purifier from my bathroom to my bedside daily. So in the morning I'll move it to the bathroom near her litterbox etc and at night its by my bedside. I plan on getting another one but for now this works and I've felt a difference in my throat as it was sore just the day before I started using it. It has seriously improved my air quality.

I have had this air filter purifier for several months now because I wanted to be able to rate it after using it a while. I am very satisfied with it. It has done a great job at keeping the dust level much much lower than it was and it's features are great. It has three speeds and even on high it is not loud as to be disturbing. If you're like me and enjoy a bit of "gray noise" to help you sleep; this is a perfect solution for that as well. It is very high quality; well-built and has many features that much more expensive ones have; including a timer and indicator when you should change the filter. If anything were to happen to this… I would definitely buy the same one again, immediately.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:When my Levoit LV-H126 died a few days ago (RIP my angel, you served me well for so long), I was devastated. Not to be dramatic, but it was the one thing that helped me sleep. I was even more devastated to find out they no longer make that model! I did some research and found this Levoit Core Mini for a very decent price with a small discount, even! I watched a few videos to see how it sounded and just decided to bite the bullet. I've been using it for a few days now and I must say, it's a quiet little machine. Definitely not what I was looking for, but I'm giving it 4 stars because it absolutely could be what others are looking for. It's a decently small-sized unit and when on the first setting, it's nearly inaudible. The second setting is a soft purr of sorts, and the third (where I keep mine) reminds me of crashing waves, but very quiet waves. I don't regret going with another Levoit, I just wish I could have found something that sounded like my beloved LV-H126. :(

I bought this air purifier for my kids’ room and it works just fine! It’s quiet, easy to set up, and helps keep the air feeling fresh and clean. I’ve noticed less dust and my kids seem to be sleeping better too.It’s the perfect size for a bedroom and doesn’t take up too much space. I feel better knowing the air they’re breathing is cleaner; especially during allergy season.Great product and totally worth it for peace of mind!

Purchased for my child’s room to help air quality during a period of wildfires we had in nearby areas that had caused a heavy amount of smoke around our home. My child has asthma and this helped clear the air in his area so luckily we had no issues. It’s easy to clean and pretty quiet. It just makes a low fan noise that we don’t even notice now.

I bought this for my son’s room when the air quality was bad. It definitely made a difference. I noticed the difference when I entered his room. It’s small enough to sit on his side table and it isn’t loud. It’s about the same as listening to white noise on a meditation app. I haven’t had to clean the filter yet and it’s been about a month. I would buy it again.

I've had one of these running on my desk for 7 months. It appears to be working because I replaced the filter and it was dirty. I say it appears to be working because I can't actually hear it unless I listen very closely. I'm sure it would work better if I turned it up higher, and there is still dust in the room, but it is better than I expected and extremely unobtrusive aurally.
