I am 61 years old and grew up and lived with terrible dental habits. At the beginning of this year I had periodontal disease. My breath was horrible, like it always has been. I brushed, but it was not doing the job. Sometimes I flossed. I went to the dentist this year at the insistance of my new wife, who couldn’t stand my breath, and got a cleaning and the dentist told me I needed to brush first to remove the bulk of the junk on your teeth, and then use a waterpick To blast out the bacteria and food under my gums. In addition they gave me some horrible stuff to kill the germs to use after the waterpick. I did quarterly cleanings to bring the disease under control. After I ran out of the rinse I wanted to continue using something for step 3. So I bought Mint Listerine because it makes my mouth feel fresher and you know that it is killing germs. I recently started using Mint Listerine everyday, and I can really tell the difference. My gums are healthier and my dentist complimented me today on my great progress since the last quarter. I attribute this to my daily regimine: 1. Brush at least twice a day, followed by waterpick under the gums before bed. After brushing and/or waterpick to clean all the physical debris from my teeth and gums, I use Listerine to directly attack the germs for 30 seconds to kill the germs. My dentist told me that the bacteria is what causes the plaque to form, and then the plaque attacks the gums, which leads to periodontal disease which, in turn, causes bone loss, which, in turn causes your teethe to fall out. Listerine kills those germs, but it take 30 seconds of rinsing to break down the bacteria’s defenses in order to kill them, So I brush, to remove the big stuff on the surface, waterpick to get the stuff between my teeth and blast out the pockets of junk under my gums that provide the physical defense for the bacteria to hide in, , and once all that junk is out of the way, I rinse with Listerine for 30+ seconds to kill the exposed germs.I no longer have butt breath, my teeth are whiter, and my gums are pink the way they are supposed to be. Now I just need to continue in these good habits ( which are easy to get away from if you quit doing it, you have to form the habit) and my teeth will last me the rest of my life.I sincerely believe that Listerine really helped me to turn the corner and finally conquer this plague called plaque and bad breath. I am no longer embarrassed for people to smell my breath. And that is a huge increase in my self esteem. Listerine played a major role in this.And oh , by the way, delivery was second day, as promised and properly packaged and un-damaged. Excellent vendor. Thank you.

This was the mouthwash used by my dentist, so I bought it as it worked so well after a cleaning. It's a bit hard to find as not all stores carry it, though it's very available on-line.The most amazing thing I noted was that, after having my teeth cleaned, and after brushing morning and night, and flossing at night as well, I was waking up with almost NO feeling of that coating of bacteria and plaque on my teeth or tongue in the morning. And that went on for almost 3 months. I've NEVER had that great of an effect from a mouthwash in my LIFE.Now, it's a bit rough to swish for a full 30 seconds, (which, according to my dentist, is the minimum length of time you need to swish for the stuff to even work). It does burn. It'll help to stop swishing and just hold it in your mouth when the burning sensation gets too bad. That will calm the sensation down, but will still be soaking your mouth. Then start swishing again as the burn fades.I've even dipped my flossers into this as I do each tooth. (My dentist said that wasn't necessary, but this stuff works so well I figured I might as well get it all they way up under my gums.) So VERY worth the money!It will NOT work especially well if you do not brush and floss first and swish for at least 30 seconds. Just use it correctly; don't fight the product.HIGHLY RECOMMEND, BUT USE PROPERLY.

Arrived sooner than expected, well packaged, good quality and original.

I started to use this mouthwash because it was used by a number of dentists and hygienists that I have used or that I know. The fact that it fights tartar was a key to my decision, as I want as much protection from tooth and gum disease as possible. This mouthwash does it all.The only caveat I would like to point out is that the description makes it look like the 2 pack is of two 33.814-ounce bottles. It actually is a 2 pack of 16-ounce bottles and the pictures in the description do indeed show the bottles are 500ml/16 ounces.

I didn't read the oz correct. That's my fault . It looks bigger on the picture

I always feel better after brushing my teeth then using Listerine; makes me feel I’m doing a good job taking care of my teeth

I love this product but didn't look at the size when I ordered. I received 2 small bottles instead of my usual large size. Oh well, I'm still going to use them and will just be more careful when ordering next time.

I like Listerine Ultraclean and this is a good source of the genuine product. No fakes or old stuff. This is fresh and works well. What more does one need to say? How about: Recommended.
