I ordered this fluid extractor to empty the gas tank on my riding lawn tractor at the end of the mowing season, and it works great. It eliminates the guesswork of estimating how much fuel I’ll need for the final mow, making end-of-season maintenance much easier. My only regret is not buying it 20 years ago—it's a simple tool that saves time and hassle.

The seals in the plunger shrank after two years of having residual oil on them. So it struggled to pull a vacuum or push oil out. But, for the price, I can’t complain much. Does make oil changes in small engines way easier. Tube is plenty long enough to get the bottom of my riding mower and every other small engine I own. Maybe it would have lasted longer if I cleaned it after each use but I’m not bothering because it’s cheap to replace.

Finally got the opportunity to use it. Holds a lot of liquid. Piston movement was silky smooth. Looks like it will last a long time.

The tubing that comes with the extractor is too small for the opening. No suction can be created with the extractor so this unit is useless unless you are able to insert the entire extractor into the opening of the vessel you are trying to empty.
