MerrellWomen's Hydro Moc Water Shoe

These shoes have great arch support, and a wide toe box. I have a lot of foot problems so I have to be very careful. I need water shoes for a rocky beach. After trying them on and walking, I think they’re also going to be good Garden shoes. They also are nice and cushiony. I have used Merrill mocs for years, they hold up beautifully.

Although I have given the shoes 5 stars, if I could rate the site where I purchased them I would give them one star. I was trying to order womens' water shoes. Found this one. Selected a color and my usual size, 9. When I added it to the cart it became a Men's shoe! I tried several times to do it over and get it to say womens to no avail. So then I decided to order it one size smaller, an 8, since I believe men's sizes are generally one size larger than womens. I did post questions about this and two nice customers tried to answer me but it didn't solve the problem as I had no idea if I was getting a woman's or a man's sized shoes. The seller actually answered me as well and was equally useless since he referred to the shoes being one and a half sizes different (mens vs. womens), when the shoes don't come in half sizes, and suggested I order a half size in the unisex shoes. I still don't know if these are unisex, mens, womens, or horse shoes! That said, I took a chance, ordered the 8s and they arrived yesterday. They fit me perfectly! So the shoes are cute, fit great, are comfortable, and should suit my purpose. They are for 2 vacations coming up where I will be on and off boats, and in and out of water. I feel these will be comfortable, sturdy, and waterproof! I recommend the shoes if you can figure out your size!

These may look a bit odd but they are super comfy and great for water or hiking. I took mine to Hawaii and they were GREAT!! Definitely recommend!

I was surprised how very supportive these shoes feel and comfortable, too. Nice high arch support and good snug feeling at the heel. I'd have liked a good metatarsal support too, as Crocks have--however, my feet don't feel well-supported at all in Crocks as they do in these Merrill's Mocs. It's almost like a lightweight walking boot in the sense of a secure and stable fit. My only difficulty is that when walking on beach they let sand and pebbles in enter in when in the water. Unlike Crocks where you just give a bit of a tap, these have to be removed to get sand and pebbles out. I highly recommend them.

Three of us in our family wear these mocs and love them. They are easy to slip on and for those who cannot handle slides due to foot problems, these stay on our feet well without blisters. Pure cloud comfort. I always order two of any size or color I want so I can compare and choose the best fit. Sometimes the toe on one pair is curled up more than the next pair which makes a difference in my preferred fit. I just ordered two pairs in paloma and one pair felt far more slippery and smooth inside on my foot that the other pair. My feet were sliding around far too much. Happy that the other pair was a good fit and feel. We also chenge easily between women's and men's sizes-- the size difference is 1.5. So women's 10 is men's 8.5. This can make a difference for those needing a half size. And the shoe is exactly the same style in men or womens and often same colors.

These shoes have saved my feet while wading in the lake so many times. They don’t hurt my heels at all which was a worry. They’re not cute but they are comfortable and durable.

The water shoes are easy to put on, have good traction for walking on rocky surfaces, and are cute. However, they do not have arch support, especially for someone who has plantar fasciitis. Not recommended for someone with foot problems.

A little context: I work as a camera operator, which means i'm working on my feet ~12 hours a day in different environments. Could be in a studio, could be on location in the mud.These shoes are about as perfect as you can get for me. Incredibly lightweight, easy to slip on & off, can handle every type of terrain, and (most importantly) comfortable with or without socks. If they get dirty, it takes 2 seconds to clean them.I bought a pair of these about 2 years ago & have put them through the trenches (literally). I've basically worn them for around 700 days of full use. Obviously, they've worn down in that time, but a new pair is so cheap that I bought another with no hesitation.These are my go-to work shoes, with the added benefit of hearing "whoa...those are cool!" every day of my life.
