My 4 year old grandson loves building and DIY activities. His parents suggested this present and I bought it. Big mistake. When I saw it, I knew straightaway that it was wrong for his age. After reading the full details (far too late, of course) I saw that it said FROM ONE year onwards! I still gave it a rate of 5 because it is fantastic for a very little one. The pieces are very light. They enable the child to build up something to his/her taste without any risk of hurting themselves. They are easy to hold in their little hands. BUT, please, do not buy it for any older age than 2.

Great product for young builders
The foam wood has been a great addition for my son's building collection. Unfortunately the bag that came with the product was ripped when opening on Christmas day. My 3 year old didn't mind but it won't be long before the whole bag is no longer of any use.
