It’s NOT wild caught - it’s farmed
Arrived in one day - hurray for great shipping. Unfortunately disappointed. Says it’s Alaskan salmon and dummy me assumes wild caught and that it’s red salmon. Read the label and “Wild Selections sources all of our seafood ONLY from fisheries that have been certified sustainable to the Marine Stewardsgup Council (MSC) Standard. Maybe I’m misunderstanding that but it doesn’t seem to be wild caught. I’ve seen salmon farmed at a fishery in washington state so I know that’s possible. So it’s a product of Thailand (printed on outer brown box and on individual packaging), distributed from San Diego (printed on outer brown box and individual packaging) and labeled as Alaskan salmon everywhere. It is the pink salmon, not so obvious but yea it’s on the back label of ingredients, which for me is just blechh! I prefer the red sockeye, copper river, or king salmon. So this was a huge miss for me. I’ll feed it to my dogs, they like it. I will continue to support the WWF with donations but not by buying this product. It wasn’t for me.

Texture and flavor
I'd like to think I am a sardine connoisseur, as being half Sicilian, I was introduced to sardines at a young age! My personal opinion of the Wild Selections is that they are the best canned, small sardines I've ever eaten! They are mild, the texture is quite delicate, and there is not that heavily "sardiney" odor.

Fabulous taste and texture, best tuna I have had in decades.
Probably the best endorsement I can make of this tuna is that after one bite I signed up for it in Subscribe and Save to keep it coming. Is it more expensive than grocery store cans? Yes. is it worth it? Absolutely. This tuna is solid, white, flaky and delicious. It is the tuna of my childhood. I have found that canned tuna has become mushy and flavorless over the years. Even if the can said "solid white" I have been disappointed over and over again with store brands. This tuna is superior in every way. It is more like a tuna steak than the bits I have been finding in other canned tunas. I also greatly appreciate the pull tab top. I can put a can in my office drawer now without wondering where I'll find a can opener.I've never seen this product before and am happy to have the opportunity to buy it through Amazon. If you like tuna, I heartily endorse giving this a try.

The Question is What’s Your Convenience Worth to You?
I hate the price but I know it’s worth it to me to buy it again. The size is perfect for one serving and I know I’m paying for the convenience of not having to open salmon cans... remove bones... pour out fishy liquid.... nope. This is no muss, no fuss. Tastes good. Fresh. Portable. What’s not to love???Oh yeah. The price.

Expensive, but yummy
I had to donate over half of the product.part of the order was incorrect product, 1 full case incorrect. I tried to reorder the correct product but it was unavailable. If you don’t like fishy smelling and tasting tuna, this is hands down the product to buy. A little pricey, but worth it!!

Good tuna and a good company
It really is a shame that I can't buy the canned tuna at all where I am anymore. The biggest issue I have is the packaging but that's it. Once you try this tuna, it's hard to go back to other brands.

Light tuna is good
I ordered 8 cans of skip jack - got 4 cans of skip jack / 4 cans of Albacore white tuna. I will try albacore anyway .
