Cotton shiva wall hanging tapestry. A great wall hanging for yoga class rooms or centers to bring power,energy and remover of obstacles. It measures approximately 43" high x 30" wide lord shiva:lord shiva appears in a meditating but ever-happy posture. He has matted hair which holds the flowing ganges river and a crescent moon, a serpent coiled around his neck, a trident (trishul) in his one hand and ashes all over his body. The lord's attributes represent his victory over the demonic activity, and calmness of human nature. He is known as the"giver" god. His vehicle is a bull (symbol of happiness and strength) named nandi. Shiva-linga, a sign of the lord, is adored instead of him. Shiva temples have shiva-linga as the main deity.

Overall, I like this product. As others have stated, it's not a tapestry, so I wasn't expecting that. It is simply a print embellished with sequins. The quality is a little iffy, so I could see purchasing this at a lower price for what I got. The sequins and the threading for the sequins is the iffy part. It's done haphazardly and it makes it hard to tell if some areas are supposed to have sequins where there is loose or dangling thread but no sequins attached. You can only see these details upon closer scrutiny.Again, overall, I'm pleased with it. It is rather campy and has beautiful colors and serves its purpose to call on the Shiva within.

Nice deal and nice details
Such a killer deal at $5, looks better than you'd expect for the price. Looks beautiful in our bedroom. Shiva is a true OG and its nice to look at and reflect a little on the nature of Shiva and life. Many symbols of mystery imterwoven into the piece.I mounted it with flat thumb tacks placed under the tapestry in 9 places around the edge then used small magnets on the top to hold it in place without piercing the tapestry. You could just put the tacks directly into the tapestry without issue though.

If you're looking for a finished tapestry, keep looking
The picture of this product is beautiful. However, when I received it, it was a thin, flimsy piece of material (still, the picture is beautiful) and the edges weren't even cut straight, were not finished and looked trashy up close. I hung it on the wall anyways, because I'm on a budget and I needed some inspiration for my meditation practice.

Very vibrant and I love the unexpected sequined details. It's so inexpensive I can't complain but just as a heads up to other buyers - the edges aren't hemmed and will fray, the cloth is very lightweight and the sequins fall off quite easily.
