Pretty good LED bulbs so far...
So far, these have been great light bulbs. I have been replacing my BR30's with these (found in my can lights in my living room and kitchen). They don't have quite the wide distribution of light as the normal BR30's, but it's not hardly noticeable. This is my second round of purchasing these. I bought 6 before, and now this is my second set of 6. They do have approximately 1 second delay when you turn them on, but it is instant full brightness. I am putting these almost everywhere I have bulbs now. They are definitely "white" by all means. I think the brightness of them comes close to a 60 watt incandescent bulb. Bright enough I replaced the 100 watt incandescents in my garage with them.I wish the dimmable versions were cheaper. I haven't tried them yet.As for the longevity, I have only had them for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on the life of the bulb, but so far no problem. They feel pretty sturdy when you screw them in. They are definitely heavier than normal incandescent bulbs.

Bright and no warm up required for full brightness like CFLs.
Theoretically should last a long time and pay for themselves in energy savings - time will tell. One thing to note is most of the light is directed every direction except towards the base. Not an issue for most applications, a reflective lampshade will disperse light downward for reading if needed.

Brighter than I was expecting.
These are extremely bright, we only replaced one of the bulbs in our bathroom with one, since the other 3 flourescent bulbs have not burnt out yet, and these are considerably brighter than the 60 Watt bulbs beside it, which is what these says 800 Lumen is equivalent to. We consider this a bit of an improvement but I mentioned it cause I thought some people might be bothered by it. I like the color, it's not much better than the pure white flourescent bulbs, but it does have less of an orangish tint than the bulbs beside it, it's a small difference, I don't know that we would of noticed it had we replaced all 4 bulbs at once, I think it may only be noticeable in direct comparison. We bought them cause the lights in that bathroom, specifically, are constantly burning out much faster than any other lights in our house, I think due to our 2 youngest sons who like to play with the lights while in the bathroom. I decided to try these hoping they would last longer, we haven't had them long enough to know yet though, so, for now, I give them 5 stars cause they are an improvement, if only slight, over the previous light bulbs we'd tried.

Strobing- perfect for your dance party, but not for everyday use
Bulb package arrived quickly and in perfect condition- all good. But, that's about where the good stopped. Perhaps there is something wonky with the circuit or the fixtures in which I tried the dimmable version of Energetic Lighting's LED bulbs. I tried them in three locations with different fixtures and different switch configurations. At full illumination from the dimmer, they operate fine. Although the light is a little "white" and CFL -feeling, they are plenty bright. However, as you dim these bulbs they begin to strobe- flickering from dim to bright, and at low-end of dimming the flickering is ridiculous. I understand this to be a problem with LEDs in general, so perhaps these perform as well as similar units, but for my applications (regular low-light), they will not work. I am returning them through Amazon, which has been really smooth for me in the past.Even though they are somewhat pricey, I truly wanted to be thrilled with the function and ultimately ahead of the game with regard to bulb life + energy consumption v. initial cost. Unfortunately, I will never know and my search for a truly dimmable LED continues.

This is much better.
Replaced incandescent bulbs in fixtures we tend to forget and leave on. Plenty of light. The light above my desk was weak with shadows. This is much better. Previous review..I downgraded my previous review. So far 2 bulbs have failed in less than a year, they just blink on and off. They are not on dimmers nor are they enclosed. For warranty you have to go direct to manufacturer. They will honor warranty but you have to pay to ship the failed bulb back to them. Shipping costs more than the bulb cost. I just checked with two other manufacturers, they have same policy. I have stopped replacing incandescent with LEDS. Research on the web indicates this is becoming a more common problem. One lighting engineer surmised that to get LED costs down quality of the electronic circuitry and drivers may be cheapened whereas older LEDS may actually last their lifetimes as claimed.Manufacturer didn't deny claim and sent me an RMD immediately. Perhaps better to buy LEDs at Lowes or Home Depot where you can just walk in and get a replacement next time you are in the store. They cost more but perhaps will last longer.

Price is fine, but the delay kills it.
This is an ok product. Bought as a lightning deal promotion. All lights work fine except for one after a month of being installed, but when one flips the light switch these Non-Dimmable LEDs it takes litterally a second delay to turn on. These lights will be placed in parts of the home where I seldom travel due to the annoyance of the delay, like attic, and basement. I will go back to getting CREE LED lights which is my own personal preferance.

Bright lights, decent value despite 1 bulb not working on arrival
These LED lights are brighter than I expected them. I've replaced about 50% of the CFLs in my house with LEDs now and hopefully by year's end I will have 100% LED lighting in the house for a further reduction in energy costs. Take note that in my case, 1 of the 6 bulbs was defective, it would do nothing but flash and flicker. Luckily Amazon customer service was able to take care of me and issue a partial refund, and I will return the defective bulb to Energetic Lighting for a replacement.
