Best value in weather instruments
I have had a number of different brands and models of weather instruments, some much more expensive than this one. A common problem that I have found in all of them is that the outside unit malfunctions after a few months or years and if you can even buy a replacement it will cost an arm and a leg. I selected this one because it is reasonably priced and comes with 3 remote sensors and since I only intend to use one outside sensor I now have 2 replacements for when the first one goes out in the future. That said, this is a very attractive unit and easy to read. I do question the accuracy but considering that when you have multiple thermometers none of them ever read the same I always question what is correct and what is not. Some are adjustable---this one is not. When looking at this one I will always consider this reading to be approximate, as I do all others. One design flaw in this is that the power jack is on the back and will not allow it to hang properly if you want it mounted on the wall. All in all I consider this a very good value and would recommend it over other similar brands. Weather instrument prices mean very little in longevity so why not go cheap and just expect to replace it every year or two.

Worth the price
I purchased the Risepro weather station Sept 13th 2018 and have now seen it tested through all my weather patterns where I live. Overall its pretty accurate. While the 3 sensors may return slightly different results, you can generally average them out to get an idea of what you weather is. The reason for only 4 stars is because the sensors are not rain proof, meaning they need to be sheltered from the direct rain. I have them placed under the wood railings on my front and back decks. Even then, during Hurricane Michael they got too much rain inside them and stopped working. If this happens to yours, just pull the batteries out and let them thoroughly dry. I also put silica packs in them to help them dry. May take a day or two to dry and you will know they are dry when you put the batteries back in and the temperature reading on the front returns on to the sensor. If the front information on the sensor is still garbled, it needs to dry longer.

good for the price. fairly accurate
[ Update: After logging and graphing sample after sample for a few days i'll call this product "accurate for the price". the 4 sets of temp/humidity sensors have been within +_6 deg F / 4% . the 3 remotes are within +-3 F / 2% of each other. the base seems too run a couple deg higher (maybe backlight / power supply) . overall i like it ]my weather station came a day after i ordered it (thanks Prime). i put in the 9 "AAA" batteriesand plugged in the usb power. works fine. all 3 wireless remotes connected quickly, and the temp & humidity displayed on the 3 little remote LCD's. screen is easy to read with ext. power to keep the backlight on, however it is focused for viewing DOWN at it, not up. (looks bight on the table below my eye-line, but very dark when mounted on the wall above my height. - Accuracy is ok. pretty slow to settle down though. after a few hours all three remote sensors were within +/- 1.4degF of each other, while the base station temp (indoor) sensor seems to run about 3 deg higher (maybe due to heat from the backlight?). i've only had it for 1 day, and spent all day logging the readings to find out that it's usable. for the $30 i really like ti so far. ( i wasn't payed to review this). [UPDATE] well it's 5 months later and everything is still working just as it was new. haven't had to change the batteries yet. FYI: my power plug is on the right side, not in the back as i have seen some people mention. i'm very happy with the weather station and remotes

Only 2 of 3 sensors work (update: they sent me a replacement!)
UPDATE: Manufacturer sent me a replacement sensor based only on this Review! I never even formally asked for one! Pretty surprised by this level of service! Would purchase more stuff from them for sure!Bought this bc I needed 3 remote sensors. One sensor was nonfunctional right out of the box. I didn’t try to return it bc that’s such a hassle... maybe they’ll send me a new sensor and I can update to 5 stars. Other than nonfunctional remote sensor— it works as described

Simple but confusing to set up
It turns out the unit wasn't reliable. It started losing connection monthly after the first couple months and stopped working after 6 or 8 months.

Sensor DOA and base will not work on power supply
One of the remote sensors was DOA.Will be contacting Amazon about getting a replacement or return.Ordered and received a second one. It connected to all the sensors and it looked as if things were OK.BUT the base would only work for a few days with the battery. It would not work with the power supply.I can understand having a problem with one but it seems that this is junk.

Nice and easy to read
This is an awesome station. Works great and is for the most part accurate. We haven't had to call for tech support so far. I will add if it comes to that. No troubles from this unit at all.

Overall good value
I was going to give 5 stars but it loses the signal for my outside sensor whenever it rains or very high humidity and is only maybe 25 feet away
