Z83-W Mini PC, Intel Atom x5-Z8350 Processor (2M Cache, up to 1.92 GHz) 4K/2GB/32GB 1000Mbps LAN 2.4/5.8G Dual Band WiFi BT 4.0 with HDMI and VGA Ports, Fanless Computer

This mini pc does in fact run windows 10, Linux Mint 19, and Unbutu Server 18.04 all without issue. I successfully installed each of these OS's to the computer without problem. I had a few issues at first with freezing but that worked itself out after a few restarts. I installed the April 1803 Windows 10 update without problem.The main goal was to test the performance of the processor as a VPN router. This computer uses an intel Atom processor. With a 110Mbps connection, I was able to get a max of 45Mbps on a VPN over ethernet. That's pretty good, better than my older router.However, the Odroid XU4 was able to get around 65Mbps VPN connection speed, owing to the more powerful processor inside it.Overall this computer works well as a server or a desktop environment. Keep in mind it is running on what are essentially mobile smartphone processors so it won't have the power of a true desktop or even a laptop. But, I was able to surf the web for hours without any major slowdown, even on a 4K monitor. Switching to a 2.5k monitor gave a snappier overall feel, since it is less work on the processor of course (there is no dedicated GPU in these)Great computer for the price, in fact, its crazy that its so cheap. I also appreciate that these come with a hardshell case for the computer, whereas the Odroid XU4 is just a bare motherboard and chips which require finding a case to fit.

I main issue I have is that it's slow. Opening new window screens, browsing the internet and opening files. I had a prior mini PC and it was fast but I had to get a new one due to a electrical surge. I could not get the same PC as before because is not in stock anymore.

I bought this mini PC to run a BOT for discord and thought this would be a cheap and easy way to have it run nonstop, but for some reason it just freezes randomly it could be on for 8 hours and freeze or 3 days and freeze, i have set the sleep settings to never and power to full and it still randomly freezes not sure if its a windows thing or if its a hardware thing

I tried to enter the BIOS or UEFI by restarting from within Windows, but while the blue light comes on, it doesn't appear to reboot. Doing a hard restart while tapping the delete key doesn't do anything. It still just goes to Windows after a while. So the reason I chose this model (restart after power loss) is a feature I can't set up.

This is a fanless PC and it shows. Consistently restarts every half hr or so. Any media played back is choppy and slow. I am a IT field engineer and purchased this for a client who owns a small gym to play workout videos during group class. This piece of garbage could not even handle that. The customer stuck with it for a month and now the return deadline has passed and I’m stuck with a hundred dollar paperweight. Do not buy this! Trust me

I expected it to be a little faster since it is solid state, But for 100 bucks it works perfect for my media server.I bought this keypad to use with it. Just plug and play! No problems, works great

Purchased 2.5 months ago, excellent choice for my Home Theater PC needs. Runs smoothly even with all the latest Win10 updates, and with only 4GB of RAM. I have 64GB of onboard storage space but added a 2.5" SDD for extra storage which perfectly holds all my home videos for viewing on my 60" big screen during family gatherings. This is not a gaming PC, but works great for everyday tasks and excellent for HD streaming services. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this equipment with the objective of testing it and evaluating its performance in order to buy a large quantity of them, but now that I have taken it out of its box and started to test it, the network card enters in airplane mode alone (both wired and wireless) It is a disaster ... the restart and connects for a few minutes and then the connection is lost.
