I really love it! The classic shape and how accurate the game is. And I really don't mind the small screen, I think it works just fine. I appreciate the little rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from moving around on a flat surface. The sound is clear and can be turned down or put headphones in. I plan to get an actual game console in bigger form down the line but for now this reasonably priced game is working great for me until then.

This Game is what it is. Small mini arcade. Controls are fine graphics are fine sounds are fine. It's cute nothing more. If your buying because you like Burgertime and this is cute to have/play on your desk you will get exactly what you wanted. This will run on Batteries. I was a little disappointed at first reading these reviews only to open my unit up place some brand new batteries in and have nothing happen like others were saying. I experimented and found this to solidly work. I opened the battery cover and while pressing the on off button over and over I used my other hand to roll the four batteries up and down. After approx 10 seconds and let's say ten clicks of the on off at the same time the unit came alive. Ever since then the unit works fine with just the batteries. Not sure why but it works perfectly fine now. Turns off and turns on the way it should.. hope this helped you all!!

I bought this as a gift for my best friend who loves old 80s and 90s arcade games. Not even a minute after opening was he on the floor cross-legged at the coffee table playing. Haven't heard from him since! Really though, he loves it. Very true to the original game. Sound and visuals are great. He says he will definitely check out other games of the same brand. I definitely know I have lots of gift ideas this year!

Technically it is as described but make no mistake this is a TINY screen! the game is quite challenging and the tiny screen makes it harder because its really hard to see if you cleared a ladder to move to the side. Its still a fun game, just be aware that it is EXTREMELY tiny. Also really difficult to play. No save, and no continues. Now I remember where all my quarters went!

Gave this to our grandson. He live video games but never experienced the arcade era of gaming. So we gifted him a retro game from our childhood and he loved it. Brought back some great memories and fun times sharing this nostalgic game with him. Get on or build your own mini arcade. It’s fun!!

The first one was a Christmas gift and it arrived defective. Would not run from its batteries but would run from the USB power. I returned it for a replacement. That replacement took weeks to arrive and was also defective with the same issue. Instead of waiting more weeks for another replacement which likely also has the same issue, I decided to investigate and repair it.The trouble is that there's a manufacturing detect defect in the battery holder. The last positive contact is not tall enough to touch the battery from the plastic housing it's placed in. If you really want to fix it instead of send it back, you need to gently pry something under that and bend it so that it can reach the contact on the bottom battery. You shouldn't have to open the well built case to do this but I had to in order to find the problem.Hopefully you don't have to fix it or send it back, but that's what's going on with these units and it seems to be consistent.If you do decide to return it, get a refund instead of a replacement. If, for some reason you decide to order another one of these, it will likely come a lot faster than if you just ask for a replacement straight away. Those seem to be a low priority in my experience.Good luck. It's a fun game if you can get it to work.

Love Burger Time and when I saw a friend get Galaga I had to see what else was out there. And was super stoked to get one of my favorite childhood games. I unfortunately ordered like new from another seller on amazon and my battery option doesn’t work. (I’ve tested with batteries directly from my friends Galaga game)For the game piece itself independent from the battery issue:It’s exactly like the Burger Time I’m used to. Got the little pepper shaker button and everything. The little joystick took some getting used to (I still find it slightly tricky to go right and left sometimes but that adds to the challenge.)Sound can be turned down or off. (Plus in an office environment)Graphics are pretty great for the size.Perfect for some old school arcade fun at breaks at work.*only wish was that it could keep track of scores, but that’s not a negative just icing on the top.
