I have never even considered one of these. I wanted to start mulching my yard waste instead of burning it,so I searched and found this to be a liked consumer product. I must say I LOVE IT!! Nice wide opening at the top for entry. Very fast cutting and heavy duty.Pine needles went through fine. I have over an acre with many trees and tons of grass and leaves to mulch. This went through all of it like it was nothing. Perfect!! (Get a bag too,its worth it) CON: if any its LOUD. Sounds like a "grinder",but no louder than your regular zero turn. I highly recommend this for people with lots of leaves. Give back to nature,its the natural cycle intended. Don't burn them.

Okay. I specifically bought this to slay the leaves that fall from the 100 year old magnolia behind the house. So far it has been awesome. Grinds the leaves up well. Don’t recommend dropping the flower cones in. Wears the string out unnecessarily. String isn’t hard to replace. Just cut out old for an easier pull. New string is easy to put in.Only complaint is that the metal poles that go between the wheel base and shredder were both drilled for the same side. As if they shipped to left legs. Didn’t really matter to me as I need to take apart to store after every use and shredder works just fine with only cotter pins and wheels permanently secured. I love it. So much fun to grind up those magnolia leaves.

I love this mulcher! I am so tired of buying and hauling bags of mulch. I love the color of the chopped up leaves. From now on this is the way for me to go.It came with a small supply of strings to get me going. The added scoops to pick up the leaves were appreciated.The only negative is the lawn bags break down pretty quickly so my idea is to use a tarp, cut it to size, and sew a sturdier bag. This should take care of that issue. May be something to think about for the company to do!The product box came in a box from Amazon. The product box was obviously a return. It was mangled and had a great deal of tape on it. I reported it right away. The company responded quickly and offered a partial refund after I ensured it worked correctly. Nice to deal with. Really happy with the product and company response.

This thing is awesome. I have over 22 trees on my property and I own an additional 2 acres of woods that contribute to my yard work every year. So needless to say I have mountains of leaves, sticks and debris to clean up every spring. This year I turned those leaves and sticks into mulch and rototilled them into the beds. The line that comes with it works well but when I upgraded to a heavy duty weed wacker line it went from awesome to amazing!!! I had to sift out the larger sticks of course but it did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to battle leaves without spending a fortune to do it.

Easy to assemble. What to do with the extra screws. Easy to use, great results. I left it on coarse. Cutting lines easy to replace. Makes short work if a lot of leaves, even magnolia leaves. Pleased with this product.

Very good leaf shredder. Leaf loads easily through the top chute with no problem. You can actually fill a full size yard bag before you have to change it out. The end product after being shredded looks like planting soil. One suggestion I do have is to avoid shredding leaves when they are wet as it causing the shredded product to bunch up in the tumbler causing you to stop to clear it out.

Works great. Easy to assemble. I cleaned up a year of leaves in no time. 3 bags of leaves became 1 which I liked because the recycle people charge 7$ a bag to recycle
