Effective Cleaning but Strong Odor
These lens cleaning wipes do a great job at cleaning computer screens and other surfaces without leaving streaks or scratches. However, I didn’t like the smell—they have a strong scent reminiscent of sharpie markers, which isn’t ideal for eyeglasses. Still, they’re convenient and effective for screens, so I’ll keep using them for that purpose.

Great for more than just eyeglasses...
Review of: CareLiving - 500 Count Lens Cleaning Wipes for Eyeglasses, Pre-moistened Individually Wrapped Scratch-Free Streak-Free Eye Glasses Cleaner Wipes for Sunglass, Camera Lens, GogglesI mostly bought these CareLiving - 500 Count Lens Cleaning Wipes for our eyeglasses. It seems like since I started getting special coating on the glasses, it’s almost impossible to get them really clean with just regular, dry lens wipe. And the CareLiving wipes does work really well for cleaning my glasses. It turns out that they’re also great for phone and tablet screens and computer monitors and even for cleaning the screen on the TV (though the TV did require more than one wipe to get the entire screen clean).I’m kind-of guilty of ignoring the gunk on those types of screens because I just don’t want to be bothered trying to find something that won’t wreck the electronics. These wipes are convenient and safer to use on electronics (compared to using a spray on the screens) and wow did they ever clean the gunk off my phone/tablet/tv screens. The half dozen or so that I’ve tried so far are really wet to start with, which is good, but I have noticed that the alcohol does dry fast. Also, I noticed that there is a ‘warning’ message on the box that clearly points out that these wipes should not be used ‘on skin’ and should ‘avoid contact with eyes’. The box shows the ingredients as alcohol, surfactant, preservative, disinfectant so I have to be careful to wash my hands after use and make sure my glass lenses are dry before putting them back on.It seems like 500 of these would be too many...but with all those devices among several family members, I think they’ll be gone before I know it.

Convenient lens wipes
These lens wipes are very convenient to have around my house and vehicles. These wipes work well, but can have a bit too much moisture for smaller things like glasses. I usually go back over my glasses with a microfiber cloth to dry them after cleaning anyway, so it's not really a problem for me. I would rather the wipes have too much moisture than too little. For larger surfaces like phone screens or laptops, these lens cleaners are perfect.I like that these are individually wrapped so I can keep them in my backpack or purse, or even in my pocket so they are always ready when I need them.

Lots of wipes!
The CareLiving lens wipes come in a huge 500 count box, giving you so many you will always have clean glasses and screens. These are packed individually in a very compact little square, but when you open the wipe package it is a significant size, almost 5"x5". Compared to other lens wipes I've used these seem very moist, to the point that I wipe and re-wipe my glasses lenses and the wet droplets stay on there for a bit before drying. There are no streaks left or anything though. They clean nicely. It allows you do clean a few items with each wipe. No complaints with these. They seem packaged well and I'm thinking they will retain their moisture quite a while until i'm able to use them all up. Will update if that changes, but overall highly recommend these wipes!

Streaks
I've tried these several times on my glasses and found that they left streaks every single time. They are very wet but even after they dry a bit the streaks still happen. Works well if you follow up with a dry microfiber cloth, but I'd prefer my cleaning routine not have to be two steps. The weird thing is that they work much better on my phone than my glasses, not sure why that is. I will still use them and I like that they are safe to use on any electronic screen but couldn't give them more than 3 stars due to the performance on my glasses.

Superb value
500 of these is $16.99 as of this review. That's a very good price. These CareLiving lens wipes work well for my glasses and phone screen. As I have seen others mention, the wipes are very wet when first opened, but I find that works to their benefit. If the lenses are especially grimy then the extra cleaning solution helps. So I will immediately clean the lenses with the wipe when it is fresh then I will wait (10 seconds to a minute, depending on temperature, air flow, etc) and wipe the lenses again when the wipe is like 50% dry. That method seems to work really well for me.
