Reusable Cheesecloth Bags, 100% Cotton Fine Mesh Strainer for Cold Brew Coffee, Nut Milk, Tea & Juice - Large (2 Pack)

It was getting close to Thanksgiving, and I had yet to find a cotton cheesecloth "stuffing bag" like I have always used in the past. All of the local stores were out of them. Then I saw these on Amazon, I quickly ordered them. They are made of 100% unbleached cotton cheesecloth with cotton string ties at the top of each bag. There are two bags in the package. I used one of the bags for the oyster stuffing in my 30 pound Thanksgiving turkey and it worked perfectly. I have no idea why it says on the bag not to use the bag in a microwave or an oven. It is 100% unbleached cotton cheesecloth, and perfectly safe to put inside of a turkey and fill with stuffing. They are no different than the so-called "stuffing bags" that cost at least twice as much in the grocery stores. Both are made of the very same material. I will absolutely be ordering these again.

The item ripped at the seam the first time i used it to filter a juice. Celery pulp fell into the juice i'd spent you know forever prepping. Not happy wiht this product.

I wanted to make greek yogurt. I bought a starter and these bags. The first batch came out about as thick as sour cream and a little chunky. I read it can take up to 3 batches for an heirloom to really smooth out, though. I'm pleased with this product and would buy again. It hung easily, tied easily, washed easily. They don't feel very sturdy around the opening, but that's really unimportant to me as I tie the whole top around a hanger anyway to drain my yogurt.

I make homeade apple cider every fall and its always been such a pain to strain in in the past and I'd always end up with chunks still in the bottom. Not this year! These were so easy to just pour right into the jug I keep the cider in. Would definitely recommend these to anyone straining liquids! So easy!

Use them on my shop vac as a pre filter over the $20-$30 paper filter cartridges. Extends the life of a paper filter cartridge from the big box store by at least a factor or 3-4 times. Easy to clean and reinstall.

I use these to cold brew coffee. One bag for coffee and the other for chicory. Far better than all the straining I was doing with the soaked grounds before

I've gotten 4 uses out of 1 bag and then the cloth rips. The enclosure string breaks the first time you use it. The saving grace of these is that it works great for making quark. I've tried a couple brands and these seem to have the best straining density for it.

Use them to create homemade cream cheese. Works great. Larger then I thought so took a little work to use them the first time. Can put an entire large yogurt into one with room to spare. Great to use for making homemade cheese as well.
