Blackout/Blockin works
Really does black out the sun for late sleepers or afternoon naps. Cooler inside too. Also blocks in the light. Not sure if "blockin" is a word, but it does just that. If you are sleeping normal night hours in a regular tent and your travel partner is a night owl up all night reading with a bright light or watching movies or someone afraid of the dark that simply must have a flood light LED lantern shining inside the tent all night radiating out 360 degrees and keeping everyone else up, etc. then give this tent as a gift to them so you can sleep. It really works. The zipper is kinda weird tho how it is attached like a book for a giant door hinged in a little fabric when open all the way. And I don't understand why the opening pulls so bad when set up that it won't zip without unhooking three side clips. Good ventilation if you pull the guide strings out and attach them to a tree or stake. Nice ground zipper mesh window for air flow. Pretty huge inside the 4 person tent. Two twin mattress would fit the long way so your feet are pointing at a wall and not out the door because turning it that way the mattress is a little too long and risks getting damp from poking against the edge.

Great buy! Easy up, lots of room, great in rain
Great lightweight tent! Sturdy in wind. I set it up by myself in about 10 minutes without looking at instructions (sewn in bag). Lots of room in this tent. Im 5’10” and can almost stand up. Changing clothes in this tent was not a hassle. The power cord port was handy as well. With the rain fly on, it stays pretty dark in the day. A rainstorm blew in on me during the night..I had room for all my gear and cooler with room to spare….tent/rain fly stayed secure and i stayed dry and warm. I checked for leaks during the night and there was only minimal water making its way in through the bottom of the zippers by the floor. I just put a towel down and went back to bed. Tent did not collect water, droop, drip, etc. The waterproof tent bottom is pretty lightweight but did its job perfectly. I did have a tarp underneath the tent. I wish the zippers were sturdier/more waterproof but for the price it’s a great buy!

Great inexpensive option
Bought as a surprise for my two kids to use camping, so they could have their own space. As other reviews mention: zipper definitely IS finicky and we stressed to be careful. Set up was about 15 minutes our first time. In addition: It can fit two twin air mattresses with about 6” in between. We used one twin mattress and one sleeping pad which left approx 2’ between the beds for personal effects. The tent is dark when all zipped up, almost too dark. There is a small back “window” panel towards the ground for ventilation. Plenty of space for two kids, I’m skeptical about multiple adults. A child could stand up inside but that’s about it. Wish the storage picket was on the back wall so all people can utilize it, but there was only one on the right side. There is also an attached “welcome mat” which is nice to kick your shoes off before entering. Overall, good purchase for the purpose.

Easy setup
Love this! Went out last weekend and set it up. Super easy and simple. I did have to buy heavier stakes because the ones it comes with weren’t strong enough. But that’s completely fine.

Tent didn’t meet expectations
This tent was not too difficult to assemble but was difficult to get zipped and structurally not very well made. It wouldn’t be very good in bad weather. The back window opens to the ground which can’t be used in wet weather. It is just not a good design.

Actually waterproof unlike most tents that say they are “water proof”
Actually water proof (still use a large tarp to be safe), dark, and roomy. If you get a thermal blanket that goes over it and (or) a large moving blanket. It’s comfortable up to about 30 degrees. Then it gets kinda chilly.

Disappointed
This was my first tent purchase. I should have done much more research. I figured a 4 person tent would be plenty big enough for 2 people. Wrong. Our two sleeping bags took up 95% of the floor space, leaving no room for anything else. The tent was not tall enough to stand in. It was difficult for my 5' 1" self to get dressed while having to bend halfway over in a supposed 5' 1" tent. The only way we could arrange the sleeping bags was to have one of them directly in front of the door. The other person had to crawl over the door person to exit the tent. The tent was easy to put up except for one missing strap. The zipper was awful. It got stuck often.I returned this tent and purchased a much larger one to replace it.
