Rubber coated magnetic clamps
These clamps are great as they stop you marking any materials you may have stuck in your vice. Easily installed to vice in seconds with their magnetic backings. Just make sure you get the right size clamps for the jaws of your vice.

Very Nice Jaw Covers - Magnets Are A Bit Weak
I got two sets of vise jaw covers: one that has an aluminum face and ones with a rubber face (like the ones in the picture). They are well made and beefy looking. The various V-grooves in the set with the aluminum face are nice for holding small round stock in place. The rubber face on the other set is a nice balance between too soft and too hard. They reason I gave these a 4 star versus 5 start rating is the magnets that hold these to the vise jaw. The magnets are just not strong enough. They will hold in place on their own, but it does not take much of a bump at all to knock the jaw covers off. If Yost used rare earth magnets, it would be well worth the extra few dollars.

Magnets could be stronger, but they do seem to stay put
They seem to stay put, but the magnets aren't all that strong. I have a feeling that they will pop off often with use, opting to stick to the work-material more than stay put with the vise. Was expecting the magnets to be about 2x stronger.

Not cigar
Some goods:• They fit the jaws of my 5" Yost vise exactly right.• The soft stuff on the faces of the caps seems durable. But the rest:• The magnetic strips are very weak, and the caps fall off onto the floor (or my feet) way too often. To be fair––I had some very strong magnets between the magnetic strips and the vise jaw in an attempt to keep the caps in place…and, I don't know, but maybe those strong magnets further weakened the installed strips that come on the caps. So, gotta go with just two stars, sorry Yost.

Nice fit with Yost vice
Works great with my Yost vice to hold fragile items or items where I don't want vice marks on them - previously I had always used shop towels for this purpose. They are magnetic and hold on fine and function as expected. You have to be realistic about how you use these - they're meant for fragile items so if you're thinking you can crank down the vice and then wale away on the work piece with a full hammer you're not using the right thing. When used for their designed purpose they are perfect and are a must have.

Great vice accessory.
Love how these work, but wish the magnets would have been a bit stronger such that jostling wouldn't knock them out of my Yost vice. They do collect metal shavings, but my other machinist's magnet quickly cleans them off. Good protection for working with finished or soft materials.
