I made one of my famous homemade chicken fried steaks and with great trepidation, tried Bisto White. Better, I mean BETTER than homemade gravy. I'm trying it on rice, vegetables, chicken, etc. Try it, you'll love it. Easy. Add boiling water and voila.

Convenient
This stuff is a real boon; instant white sauce in seconds. Mind you, you need some thickening granules to go with it and you can have white sauce just as thick as you need or like it. I also grate cheese into it, and I find this better than cheese sauce granules ( I probably use better quality cheese).

Use on its own over fish,meat etc. but also use for thickening gravies etc. HAve used for many years.
