This was recommended by my dentist. I was having problems with my gums and had sores on my gums.I stopped using my electric toothbrush and bought a "soft toothbrush. The electric brush was very stiff and hurt my gums. This toothpaste only takes a small amount to get quite a lather and also whitens my teeth. My gums are in better shape than before.

I just received wonderful feedback from my dentist that my gums are finally healthy. This is due to brushing with this toothpaste twice daily along with flossing daily.

I really like this toothpaste. I try my best to keep my gums healthy and I feel like this goes a long way in supporting my dental hygiene. The flavor is very mild and it gets like medium foamy. This is a pricey toothpaste but I think it’s well worth what you spend.

I've switched to natural since buying this, so cannot really note on rate, texture and all of the things Amazon wants me to. If you like this brand, it's just as the store. Cheaper if you wait for a sale.
