I bruined salmon fillets overnight. I smoked them for approx 4 hours with cherry wood chuncks. The flavor is totally insane. It came out so good.

Buyers should look at the ingredients. In addition to salt and maple sugar, most brine recipes will include things like allspice, clove, ginger, garlic, bay leaf, etc.. This just seems to be salt and maple sugar. When you dissolve it you will see that it's mostly salt. I used it for smoking coho and the recommended 24 hour soak is way too long for that high of salt content. The result is basically a salmon salt lick... I gave 2 stars, giving the benefit of the doubt that perhaps there is some value in a light soak before cooking vs brining for smoking.

Its ok. Didn’t have a lot of flvor. Just my opinion

Smoke trout, I soak mine for three days instead what the directions says , and smoke with guava wood or apple wood, people say to dry it in the fridge before smoking but I didn’t, came out fine .High heat then low for about 3 hours skin side down and don’t forget to spray none stick on the rack!

This is an easy marinade just make sure to follow the ratio of 1 gallon of water per package of marinade. Tastes great!

This was my first time ordering this brine. It won’t be the last! I used it with a steelhead trout filet from Costco. It tastes so great! I had JUST stopped cussing the day before. Then, they walked in with THIS mutha 🤬 so I had to start over! It’s amazing!
