Glass is staining
So the carafe is fine, works well, good value. (I had one before that leaked as others have mentioned, but this one is fine.)The strange thing about this one is that the carafe is literally slowly staining brown. This is not a cleaning issue, I wash it regularly after each use, and check closely that it is not a layer of coffee residue on the surface, and have done the deep cleaning - vinegar, baking soda, dishwasher detergent soaking routines a number of times. I actually just signed on to double check the description to see if, by chance, the one I bought had a brown tinted base. Nope, it is supposed to be clear, and it was when I first received it. But for whatever reason, the lower section of mine is now tinted a light to medium brown - sparkling clean! This has never happened with any other glass coffee carafe that I have had (and I've had several). Obviously, it doesn't impact its functioning, it just drives me a little crazy each time I wash it.

Not correct size to fit my coffee maker. Fully refunded.
This Cuisinart coffee carafe did NOT fit into my Cuisinart coffee maker model DGB-800 as described. Tried to return, but was told not to bother shipping it back -- even the seller did not want it back. I did get a full refund for this order. Thank you!
