i bought these for my Mom who was always using plain straight wooden forks to stir pasta, Chile, and a wide variety of dishes on 5he stove - and going through the forks quickly (staining, sometimes warping, etc.). I saw these and decided to try them because they’re heat resistant and she could leave them in the pot, as she tends to do. They’ve withstood the heat just fine. At first I was concerned the softness at the end of the fork prongs would make it hard to stir thoroughly, especially when you need to keep something from sticking, but I’m used them and their flexibility at the tips and rigidness further up makes a great combination for these types of jobs. Why not a 5-star review? Well, the notch on the side is too low to allow the fork to sit comfortably in nearly all pans other than at a slant in a frying pan, and that’s not her primary use for the fork. In a higher pan, the notch does not hold it in place, but it slips off. It’s still a great fork for cooking, though.

These are great for nonstick pans and perfect for cooking ground hamburger or scrambled eggs. I used a three pronged fork for years until it broke and these are a great replacement for that.
