About a year ago, I switched away from Tidy cats. The formulas seemed to change and the litter became a disaster. I switched to a 'club' subscription brand. Although, I liked that litter, it was very expensive, started to smell after a few days, and did not last long enough to justify. I saw this new comfort litter and gave it a try. I'm glad I tried it. I found my new litter!! Hopefully, TC doesn't change it in the future.Con: it tracks. I have large mats around the litter box and they are heavily tracked with dark grey clay. I don't notice much beyond the mats.Pros: Scent free is truly scent free. It also contains odors fantastic. It clumps well and scoops easily. I don't find it dusty.My cats started using it without issueUpdate after a month of use charging from 4 to 5 stars: This is my favorite litter ever. I scoop every day or two. Everything clumps and scoops well. There is literally no odor at all!!! With adding little refills, I went a month before fully changing the litter. I could have went longer. Excellent!

No paw prints all over my floor. No dust at all. Not as expensive as the last one I tried. The only thing is you must clean the litter every day. Not just the poop.Otherwise the urine starts to smell.I took a star off for that. I do not fill the litterbox for that reason.Two cups is enough for one cat. I tried filling the box half way and clean it every two days. Forget about it.The urine clumps throughout the litter. Small pieces and big clumps.If it was big clumps only it would be much better. Took a star off for that.

I’ve had cats for 60 years. I’ve tried several different types of litter. This is by far the best cat litter on the market. I have two separate boxes on two separate levels of my home. I have Comfort Care , Tidy Cat on the main level& Tidy Cat Glade Scented Lightweight on upper level. My 16 your old cat will go out of his way to go on the main level to use the comfort care box. . Prior to using Tidy Cat Comfort Care my cat utilized both boxes. Now she will go out of her way to only use the cat comfort care filled litter box.

My cat's didn't like the larger particles in the standard Tidy Cats, so I could never use it. They loved Arm & Hammer, but all the styles always smelled horrendous. My kitty was sadly declawed by her former owner so she needs a cat litter that's easy on her paws. This cat litter works just great for her condition. It is light and clumps really well for cleaning out the litter box. I saw a post that said it turns into mud after awhile. But I've found that not to be true at all, even after a couple of days of my Cat's use. Maybe they are waiting to long to scoop or have too many cats for one box? It does scatter after the cat comes out of the box because it's so light but I have a mat to catch the litter and that helps a lot. All and all I am well pleased with this product and will certainly purchase it again!

I want to start by saying we used this litter in our litter robot. I bought this because bigger litter would get stuck in my kitty’s toes and she would chew at her feet. While this didn’t get stuck in her toes, it made like a muddy substance when she peed and then she would step in it and it made a huge mess. It would even stick to her belly fur. It was also easier for her to fling everywhere while using the robot. It worked okay in our regular litter box but was more messy. We are switching back to our old litter to avoid having to clean our cat every time she used it.

Delivery was a very important part of this order. I've had spine surgery and could not lift litter at the store. This soft litter is great for cats who have had their front claws (and first joint BTW) amputated. I adopted my cat as a rescue. DO NOT TAKE CATS' TOES OFF. Find other ways to deal with the cats' sharpening claws and clawing furniture! The book THE CAT WHISPERER is an EXCELLENT reference tool.
