So i brought a load of the axus flexible filling knives.. All except the 3 inch as i dont use that size... The thing that struck me was the quality.. All over the shop... The handle on the 6 inch one was a bit loose and short for a big knife.. Using it was like being disabled and after two minuites of looking like a novice i gave up my task and went back to my old knife.. Presto i could function again..The 1 inch knife is only an inch at the tip and gets fatter at the handle.. It was not straight on the end and was so thin it bent in my hand.The two inch knife is much stiffer but the bend is just wrong again clumbsy and not any cop..The inch and a half was about the best but none realy got my attention the handle on the two inch had square edges and was lop sided to the tang..The handle shape and material is good.. The six inch knife needs a longer hande and ive got smallish hands. Your up against the back of the blade with your hand all the time.. Bound to cause trouble and sores. Stainless steel is a rubbish choice of material for the blade and the shape of the knives is something to be refined a bit.. Overall the product was inconsistent and poorly finished and function was also poor.. Sure they look nice but thats it.. Mine are going on ebay while they are still shiny... I decorate all day every day and buy my filler by the sack so have some grounding in the subject.. Im also a tool nut.. My home is like a garage...

Excellent product. Feels high quality in the hand and is comfortable to use. The edge is tougher than it looks and managed to stand up to scraping wallpaper residue and some little pieces of wallpaper backing that id missed with my purdy 10 in 1 tool (also highly recommended), without so much as a nick in the blade.

I have used and abused mine for about 3 years now and cannot fault it. It gives great results and the handle is resistant to white spirit and acetone so clean up is easy too.

Excellent quality filling knife. Really nice feel and weight to it. I bought this with the 1" and 4" filling knives and they are all great. I used the 6" knife for some of the larger repair fills and combined with  Ronseal MPRMF12VP 1.8Kg Ready Mixed Smooth Finish Multi-Purpose Interior Wall Filler with 50 Percent Extra , I often didn't even need to sand it afterwards.Although it's hard to comment on the longevity as I've only had it a couple of weeks, it seems really well built and I'm sure it'll be one of those tools that just lasts. It cleans easily, although removing the sticker, as others have mentioned, is a slight annoyance (but not enough to put me off what is otherwise a great product). Maybe the manufacturers in future could just put a card sleeve on it and remove the only real negative that I can see.Overall I am really pleased with the product (and the other sizes too). I know they must be good as my father started using them rather than his own filling knives and that never normally happens. He usually uses his own stuff for every diy job, so these really have been given the seal of approval.

They call me mister magic..And it's not because I disappeared on my children.I've bought 2,3 and 4inch knifes from here as prices were fairly competitve and I needed them for work and sweet baby smoldered in hoiney Jesus these are amazing.First of they made with very good quality, flexible but works with harder mud as well!Second looks second to none, seems like some royal knifes for a damn wall taping haha.Makes working very easy.Easy cleaning, easy to use, slick looking amazing overall tool.Just ordered 6 and 1 inch ones because my 6 inch went bust on me.The only thing is that wooden handle might get a bit slippy, but dont keep it squeeky clean and you will get the grip you need!Definetely recommend.

Really good filling knife and quite versatile

These are really good, I do a lot of drywall repair work and have no complaints at all, I can get almost perfect smooth finish before I even sand with the 6” knife even over a square repair patch up to 1m2. Anyone that says different is blaming the tools for their own failure of craftsmanship 🤷‍♂️
