This pre-taped masking film proved to be so useful and easy to use when I sealed my bath. The masking tape was left in place for over a week to ensure that the bath seal was kept dry whilst still being able to shower therefore, the bath seal is perfectly stuck to the bath tiles and bath edge and looks fabulous. I would definitely recommend this product just need to a little patience when unrolling and sticking to a surface, it is very sticky so can easily stick to itself though I did not find it too difficult to unstick when needed.

It took me a bit of practice to get the knack of using this. It’s best to unroll it a foot or so at a time from the dispenser, sticking it as you go. Even then, you will need to occasionally lift it to adjust its position. If you unroll too much in one go, the static on the plastic sheet causes it to curl and stick to the sticky tape, and it’s then difficult to separate again.The adhesive on the tape is quite strong, so the manufacturer recommends that you don’t use it on wallpaper, or other delicate surfaces. Make sure the surface is dry and free from dust, otherwise the tape will not stick.The plastic sheet is thin and light, but it seems sufficiently strong to not tear during use. It is, though quite slippery, so take care if you put it on the floor. Its static properties allow it stick down really well on mirrors, windows and other surfaces.The sheet unfolds wide enough to cover radiators etc, or cover a good section of floor below walls.Although this product is a bit trickier to position than I expected, I have found it really useful and will certainly be using it again in future decorating or DIY projects.

It was of a good help when I painted my house, it also protects from dust. Recommended.

The idea is that this is a canister of thicker gauge cling film with decorators' tape running across the top. Stick the tape to the edge of whatever you're painting, and a layer of protective plastic hangs underneath to protect the surface from stray paint. Great idea.It doesn't work like that though.The blue tape strip is too thin, it's only 1.5 cm wide so not enough to stick well to a surface. The slightest movement in the cling film and the tape falls off the surface it was stuck to.The cutting strip to dispense the film in the canister also doesn't cut well. It's spiky and sharp (it spiked a hole in my t-shirt), but it doesn't cut, it mangles. (Attached photo show how the film came off the dispenser when I used the cutter.) You need clean, sharp, scissors to manually cut sections of film.The film is static cling film, so it clings to you as much as it clings to anything else. It's much easier to put up as a two-person job. If you're on your own and doing a large area you may well shrink wrap yourself!

Used this when painting the walls in my newly installed kitchen. I have to say this product is brilliant! Yes, it’s a bit tricky in ensuring it doesn’t stick to itself with the attached masking tape but once in place it literally covers everything with the static keeping the plastic in place; this is useful as the tape is not overly sticky and can come unstuck from surfaces. I bought 2 different lengths and both were excellent. They are on a roller and you reel them out in widths as needed. Not one bit of paint got on the cupboards so highly recommended.

Reçu ce jour. Produit de qualité. Parfait pour protéger les alentours avant peinture. Bâche fine mais efficace est solide pour ce qu’elle a été conçue. Le scotch tiens ce qu’il faut pour peindre proprement et s’enlève simplement sans laisser de traces.

Die auf Rollen geführte Abdeckfolie ist leicht zu verarbeiten. Der Klebesteifen an der Außenseite ist sehr stabil und reißfest.Die Folie könnte etwas dicker sein. Sonst gibt es nichts zu meckern.
