Fun for a great brain exercise

Lots and lots of math pages. All the basics, nothing too complicated. Gets the brain going. I bought this for someone experiencing early dementia, but I find value in it too. It isnt always about the degree of challenge but just doing something, anything,.. and thinking through something even if easy. Your brain is firing off, it is helping the brain!Then if you need the added challenge then perhaps do time trials, or only do it mentally, or add on a couple of numbers to make it a larger problem. Or mix it up--go between doing addition and division, make your brain have to switch up. Then maybe really change it up and turn to another workbook you may have (word problem, search a word, drawing, etc-- force the brain to use another part). Then switch back to math. Make it work for you.

Went as far are precalculus back in the day and noticed my math was slipping so I bought this.Doing just a page was enough to improve my focus and patience. It made me more accurate and faster. It was very simple, yet effective in improving confidence and removing rust.

I purchased this for my husband who has dementia. The numbers were large enough to see without glasses. He was so focused in getting the answers written that I was amazed how well he remembered. Besides playing puzzles, he now has another brain game to solve. This is just awesome!!
