What kind of skeptical since the product was so expensive? Had it for a month so far and this is what my shower has been spitting out without the filter my skin has also feel better since been using the product I ended up buying two more for my other two bathrooms and the second picture shows how much crap was in our water system. Awesome product.

Easy to install and seems to work well. Seems like more of a sediment filter than anything else, but it's what I needed. Not sure about the longevity of it over time.

I got for My camper and for my significant others house. We haven't used yet in the camper but it was easly installed.My significant other lives in the country and has treated well water shared by a sub division. His water stains the tub and toilets. After first use you could see how much iorn the filter trapped.I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this filter for my shower plus 8 extra filters. They weren't a bad price but I had to change them frequently. I guess I have very poor quality water. It's not a bad product it just didn't work for me. However, it was easy to install and changing the filter was not complicated at all.

So I had serious doubts as to how effective this add on water filter could be given it’s relatively low price point. But since I had heard neighbors talking about the improvement in the taste of their city supplied water after installing whole house treatment systems ($$$$) I thought this might prove informative. It was pretty easy to install using plumbers tape and an adjustable wrench with a washcloth to pad the jaws. It came with a filter already installed and two additional filter cartridges as replacements since they cannot be cleaned and reused. So I installed it on our bathroom shower and after just one shower notices a slight speckled brown tinge visible through the clear filter housing. After three weeks of two showers a day the filter was disgusting! Initial attempts at unscrewing the unit to replace the filter were troublesome as I wasn’t able to easily unscrew the housing for fear of cracking the plastic housing. Note: this unit is all plastic, no metal fittings or housing. So I messaged the seller who reassured me that it would unscrew and not break. Using additional force it did unscrew without causing any damage. I guess it’s really screwed down tight to prevent leakage under high water pressure. Nearing the end of the replacement filter cartridge’s useful lifetime so I’ll message the seller to find out the cost of additional filters. As a result of this simple and cost effective filter we are now seriously considering investing in a whole house water treatment system. And only drinking bottled water or water filtered through our refrigerator’s filtered dispenser.

Seemed to be filtering out the rust in my water as the filter turned orange. Then when I used it next it spit out a bunch of rust when the washer was turned on.
