I purchased this paraffin wax machine looking for a solution for my dry, cracked hands, and it has exceeded my expectations! From the first use, I noticed a big difference: skin feels softer, hydrated and visibly healthier.Wax heating is fast and uniform. In about 30-40 minutes the wax is completely melted and ready to use. It comes with several useful accessories such as thermal gloves, applicator brush, and plastic bags to wrap your hands or feet, which helps maximize the benefits of the treatment.What I like most is that it is not only excellent for hydrating the skin, but also relieves minor joint pain thanks to the heat, ideal for those who suffer from arthritis or stiff hands.Pros:Easy to use and clean.Heat the wax quickly.Noticeably improves skin texture.Relaxing and with therapeutic benefits.Cons:It can take up some space if you have a small bathroom.The initial warm-up time requires some planning.In short, it is an excellent investment for self-care at home. Ideal for those who want to pamper themselves with a spa-type treatment without leaving home.

Only thing I realized was that I should have ordered additional wax with my order. I have been using it at least 2 or 3 times a day.

I have arthritis and my physical therapist had me try a paraffin dip. It’s so soothing for my sore hands, I decided to find a paraffin warmer for home use. I’m pleased with this one!The only down side for me has been that the lid is super lightweight and a bit challenging to hold onto (I’ve dropped it in the melted wax twice).Otherwise, this machine has a number of features I love. You’ll need about 2-3 times the amount that is included with the set. The lavender scent of the included wax is very strong so you may prefer to get unscented.The machine heats up sufficiently to melt a lot of wax in under an hour. Then you adjust the settings to bring the temperature down to what’s comfortable for you. I like mine really hot, about 140-143 degrees, but you’ll need to adjust to your own comfort level (seems most people are using theirs in the 130-132 degree range).You can set the machine to keep your wax at your designated temperature for up to 24 hours, which is a huge time saver for me. That way I can use it multiple times a day for pain relief without having to wait each time for the wax to melt.The machine is a comfortable size for 1 hand at a time, and my size 8.5 wide feet fit in it too.The set included reusable plastic bags, hand mitts, and booties, which have been a really nice bonus because you don’t have to search around for your own plastic bags, towels, socks, and so on to wrap up with after dipping.I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because I wish the lid was a little easier to handle, and because the included wax is way too strongly scented.

The item arrived on time.Is attractive in my salon space. It is large enough to accommodate large hands, and can do a average size foot. It does take longer than 20 minutes to heat the wax, but I had several wax bars in at once. Once melted, it reheats very quickly. You will need extra wax, as it only comes with 3 wax packs. It is simple to use and seems to be fairly sturdy. Only had for a few days but is great so far.

I guess you get what you pay for, but it would be nice if, at least, it worked properly. I chose a mid-range price thinking that was a safe bet for a decent paraffin bath, but..... It took 6 hours to (almost completely) melt 2 of the little wax packages that came with the unit. I used a thermometer to test the wax at that point and it registered only 100 degrees F. The 2 wax packages weren't near enough to submerge my hand. Just a couple finger was all. Can't imaging how long it would have taken to melt enough to get my whole and in there!! Sending it back and looks like I'll have to Geta high end. Hope to find one that isn't made in China as the directions for this one were sketchy

I bought this to continue my PT at home for my hand. I like that it has a nice temperature control area that allows you to increase and decrease temps. The wax that comes with it is terrible. It smelled like gasoline. I know paraffin is a petroleum product but it is not supposed to smell. It was made in China...so, I went ahead and bought Therawax made in the USA that my PT office uses. It will hold a lot of wax, so buy several pounds. The 3 packages this came with only filled about 1-2". The mitts this came with are thin. Youre better off using an oven mitt. And the plastic bags are rectangular, but not very big. They will work ok, but I will get larger and longer ones.

My first box had a broken seal and the seller moved quickly to replace it within 2 days. I quickly set up the new order and was surprised and delighted with the product. I've used it used it to dip my hands and feet and it works as stated. I've just purchased more wax for my next spa day. This is an added treatment that I really enjoyed.
