I've got these pastilles to clear the mucus i occasionally get in my chest. Potters are the best at making these kind of pastilles.

Absolutely vile, however very effective so I guess the disgusting taste is worth it

These can be pretty difficult to get hold of so I but a few at a time in here as never want to be without themIf you suffer with congestion popping one if these in before bed definitely helps with sleeping and not being up coughing all night

Do they help? Yeah, a bit. In the same way that sore throat and cough Strepsils or a strong lozenge like a Fisherman's Friend work. They feel like they clear the air ways, get the gunge flowing a bit and then provide a mild numbing/anaesthetic effect to hold off coughing for as long as they last.That taste though! I can see why others called it "vile". It's hard to explain, but if I had to hazard a description of the flavour profile... I'd say they taste like a bike inner tube smells... perhaps with a bit of added orange pith and leather.
