Highly Recommend!
HOLIDAY ROMANCE (Fitzpatrick Christmas Book #1) by Catherine Walsh is a charming, heart-warming holiday rom/com featuring friends in Chicago, who meet every year at the airport for years to fly home to Ireland for the Christmas holiday to be with their respective families, but this tenth year will change everything. This is the first book in this series, and I cannot wait for more.Molly Kinsella, who cannot be bothered with Christmas cheer and Andrew Fitzpatrick, who is all in for everything Christmas, have become close friends as they meet each year to fly home to Ireland together. They catch up on their extended families and personal lives on the trip each year, but as they wait for their ten-year anniversary flight a stormfront moves in and all planes across the Atlantic are cancelled. Molly knows what Christmas with family means to Andrew and vows to get him home.Molly and Andrew begin an epic trip with the only goal of being home for Christmas dinner, but this journey from hell may have these friends admitting more to each other than ever before. This is one of those holiday rom/coms that leave you with all the warm and fuzzies. Molly and Andrew are opposites and yet perfect together. She is a pessimist and over worked lawyer who hates her job, while he is easygoing and a family and event photographer. The two of them together have a believable relationship with a dialogue that is snappy and snarky. There is one sex scene, but it is short and not gratuitous. I love how the author has the two in the present day interspersed with flashbacks of their previous nine flights. All the family members of both Molly and Andrew are well developed and add to the fun holiday family feel. This story had me rooting for Molly and Andrew all the way on their terrible, but wonderful journey.I highly recommend this enchanting holiday rom/com!

Warm and fuzzy
If you need Christmas cheer this book is perfect, witty and charming with a lovable cast of characters. Read it last year and it was the first holiday romance I wanted to read this season.

Fun holiday friends-to-lovers romance
I’m sure you’ve seen Holiday Romance by Catherine Walsh all over social media. It is a wildly popular, fun, Christmasy, friends-to-lovers romance, travel style.Molly and Andrew both live and work in Chicago, but are originally from Ireland and they return annually to visit their families at Christmas time. They meet every December to take the same flight home after mistakingly running into each other on a flight right after Molly found out her roommate was cheating on Andrew. The same roommate then proceeded to breakup with him via text while Molly was on the plane with him! When they unexpectedly see each other the following year, same time/same place, the trip together becomes “their thing”.The story recounts some of the previous plane rides they’ve shared, as well as Molly’s wild and relentless attempts to get Andrew home to see his family, despite the blizzard that cancels all flights. She will stop at nothing, knowing how much it means to him, and along this circuitous route home, they realize how much they mean to one another.I enjoyed Holiday Romance, but wasn’t as invested in the characters, or as enamored with the story as others seem to have been. I thought it was cute, but also rather long and drawn out, as well as a bit slow and repetitive at times. I’m glad that I read it, and appreciated how it all wrapped up, but it wasn’t my favorite.

Cute and romantic
3.5 stars. I greatly enjoyed the storyline. It is funny at times and is completely adorable the whole time. The characters are likeable, and it's a light read. It's not spicy, but some lustful moments. I was bored at times and felt the story dragged on halfway through. I almost dnf because I got tired of the redundancy, but it redeemed itself. The ending wasn't spectacular, but it was pleasant. This is definitely a Hallmark-like book."I'm in love with you and I'm sorryit took me so long to figure it out. I'm sorry Iwasted so many years trying to find someoneelse, when the only one I wanted was you.""Because I know in my soul there will onlybe him. There's only ever been him."

perfect holiday romance
Enjoyable. Entertaining. The two main characters were fun and the banter perfect. And their families even added more fun to the mix. I loved that this book held no “drama” and that it spoke to traditional families. Perfect for the Christmas season

so much fun!
this was so cute!! 🥹 the banter was absolutely top tier & I was swooning every page.2 Irish cuties fly home to Ireland from Chicago every year for Christmas. they've always been "just friends", sharing life updates & future plans. but this year, after several delayed flights, lost luggage, & many tears.. this trip made them see what's been right in front of them all along 🥲ahh! Molly was just like Lorelai Gilmore & I loved it soooo much. she was so incredibly witty & had such a clever comeback for everything. but it wasn't overdone to make her seem annoying like most books do when they try to recreate Lorelai lol Andrew was just dreamy & I loved absolutely everything about him. I also love that we got lil snippets of past flights, it made the ending even sweeter!overall, I give this one ⭐⭐⭐⭐because while I do love the romance story of course, there were a few side stories mentioned that irked me. solely for personal beliefs I hold (most of you could read this & have no idea what I'm talking about so this isn't completely necessary to take into consideration lol). there was also one lil spicy scene at the end that I was not expecting. thankfully it was nothing wildly raunchy & it is *very* easy to skip over (I skimmed very quickly & can tell you you won't miss anything by skipping it), & any other mentions of intimacy are pretty mild. if this doesn't bother you, then I would definitely recommend because it is such a fun & wholesome romance!

Romance que no se hace pesado ni demasiado poco creíble. Rápido de leer, te deja con ganas de más. Muy bien en su estilo.
