Vivo [DVD]

We adore this movie! The plot is incredible, the music is soooo good!SPOILERS AHEAD!Gabriella starts out with a bit of an attitude, but as the movie progresses we learn she is struggling with the death of her father. She does find healing through her adventure with VIVO and a loving moment with her mother.If you’re worried about anything scary for your kiddo, there is one scene where a somewhat aggressive dog chases Vivo. And there is a recurring snake character that may frighten some younger or more sensitive children. When we first started watching we simply skipped those parts. 🤷‍♀️ The movie was still great and doing this didn’t totally disrupt the storyline.No magic or fantasy in the movie.One of the young female characters is a bit of a bully even towards her friends. We used those scenes as an opportunity to explain that we speak to and treat everyone with kindness.Hope this helps! We give this two thumbs up!

This movie grabbed me and has held me for such a long time. It has such a bittersweet beginning, and a very Livi g storyline, so hard as it is a little picachu trying to fulfill his master's last with, to put a love song in the hands of the woman he loved for at least half a century. The characters are loveable, the music fantastic. This one is a keeper!

Super cute movie. Me and my little one have watched it about four times, and I'm sure that won't be all.
