American Educational Rubberized Cloth Apron, 36" Width x 46" Height

This apron did an excellent job of keeping the flying goo comprised of cutting oil and metal powder off my clothing while honing an engine block in the driveway with a drill and Flex Hone. It was plenty long for my 6'2" frame and coverage around the sides was good as well. I did this job on a pretty hot day, and while it's obviously going to keep heat against you it didn't seem excessive. It does tear pretty easily though, so it lost a star for that... but mine's still usable so I'll do so again. I will order it again if the need arises.

I purchased this for when I go camping. It's important to keep your self and your clothes as clean as possible when you're out for a few days or longer. It's how you fight hypothermia, infection, and parasite infestation. I specifically got this for wood working, cooking, and butchering/skinning. It works very well. Totally impermeable and big enough to fit a large 6'3" guy like myself. I rated it 4 stars because its not über durable and I'll have to replace it, probably every year, depending on my outings. Also, its definitely not fire resistant, just a heads up.

ProsLight and liquid proof. That includes hot water, oil, and blood.Cons.Rips easy. The back ties ripped from the apron when I bent over and the bottom ripped when I stepped on it. But it seems to be make off a bunch of strips sown together so I just removes the ripped strip and kept on working.

Great for general lab/ chemical work. However, it is not that strong against tears. I know, no where in the description did it say it would be.. oh wait it did say it was sturdy cotton that was rubberized…Ok it was not cotton that was rubberized (neither of those things) it is cheap vinyl. So it still does the job, but don't expect it to ever withstand a rip. it will also get minute pin holes from normal wear. Still does it's job though.

I bought this apron to use when I'm servicing my flooded, lead acid battery bank for our solar system. Seems no matter how careful I am, there will always be a drop or two of battery acid that gets on my pants and soon that leads to a hole, ruining the pants. This is cost effective solution to prevent that.

I am a tall, not skinny guy. And I read reviews of several similar aprons that they were a bit small. This one goes past my knees, and is plenty wide. It seems solid, not thin and flimsy, like a lot of stuff out there. (I really hope this is Made in America.) Very pleased with my purchase.

This apron is being used for a chemistry class. It is a fantastic price and perfect. It runs very long, but that is good to protect the kids from head to toe.

This apron covers me from just below my neck to about half-way between my knees and ankles. Side to side, it goes around to my back. My only problem is the short ties. I added on some longer ties (chemical resistant) so I could bring them around to my front to tie.
