Halo HeadbandVisorBand Sweatband

I love this visor as I swear a LOT and always had swear drop in my eyes or on my glasses. That is not longer a problem. I do think though that the product can be improved by being shaped a bit better over the ears. I give it a 9/10

For bicycling, I've used Halo headbands without the visor for years and liked them. My caution with them is not to launder them, but just rinse them out by hand with warm water. I laundered one of those once and put it in the dryer. The band inside designed to deflect the perspiration cracked and didn't work well after that. I view that as my mistake, versus a flaw in the product, but I mention that to folks.But the problem I still had with the regular Halo was that there was still a little skin exposed around my eyebrows and very upper nose area where I didn't use sunscreen for fear of having it get into my eyes. The Halo covered a bit of my forehead below my helmet, but not that areas. Of course, it wasn't designed to do that. But with the small visor, the my face is shaded in those areas where I can't use sunscreen. That's a real plus for this versus the "regular" Halo. In addition, perspiration would occasionally roll over the top of my regular Halo when I leaned over, and I don't seem to have that problem with this.I've only used this for about a dozen rides, so I can't yet vouch for durability of the bill, but I still feel like this is an excellent product that makes up for some of the small problems that remain with the regular Halo.BTW, this appears to be the first review for the Halo Visorband. If you're not familiar with the Halo in general, the "regular" Halo products have hundreds of reviews that you can read and they're generally rated favorably.

This summer in So Cal has been very humid and mountain biking with a regular headband does not help much but the visor is short enough to not obscure the trail and it keeps the sweat off my glasses. The Halo yellow bead also diverts the sweat more to the side.

The Halo Headband VisorBand Sweatband fits perfectly under my cycling helmet. I wish there were an inbetween size the visor and the race sized visor headbands. The race one is a standard ballcap type of visor and I can't see my mirror (attached to helmet) well. Race might work w/a mirror that fits on your glasses better? The visorband is the standard bicycle cap smaller visor. I did not have a single drop of sweat land in my eyes while riding 3 hours in the AZ temperatures!

Fits well and not too tightly. It soaks up alot of sweat on long bike rides. I bought it as a sun visor under my bike helmet but it also collects sweat. And it’s machine washable!

I got this head band primarily for the sun visor, which works very well. I ride primarily first thing in the morning and half of my daily trip is riding into the rising sun. Even with sunglasses the sun came into the top of the glasses. I did not want to buy a new helmet so I could attach a sun visor. I saw this and decided to try it. Well, not only does the visor do what I wanted, I did not realize how much sweat was previously running into my eyes, causing further discomfort to my eyes. This headband does an excellent job of wicking the sweat from my forehead.The headband / visor fits perfectly with my helmet. I simply slip the headband on and then put my helmet on as usual right over it. The headband is comfortable, I barely notice it.One funny thing is that the visor now channels the wind so I get a lot more wind noise (that, or, this made me so aerodynamic that I am riding faster - lol!). I ride with earphones to play music while I ride, so, this is not an issue, just interesting to note.Such a minor expense has made a major difference in comfort during my daily ride. I should have done it sooner.

This product is awesome. Blocks the sun, controls sweat, looks good and is very comfortable. Love it!!

I really like this visor. It does a good job and appears well made. For me, it is a bit snug and I have a medium sized head. The snottiness makes it feel warmer in the heat. It would be nice to find a similar product with an ultra slim Velcro attachment. The one size fit all is a bit of a problem. Otherwise, it’s really nice.
