Fantastic and Simple
I travel light. I pack the same for a 5 day trip as for a 5 month trip. Maximum carry on size. This is easy to bring aboard the plane and store overhead. 2 exteriors pockets for easy access to passport, documents and money. 2 interior pockets. And easy to trek through an airport or subway as a backpack. Well made for a rugged traveler. And not over complicated with unnecessary compartments. Best travel bag.

Good for international travel
Went to Italy with this as my carry on. Held up well. Plenty of room and is the right size for travel.

Durable, great price and spaceous. didn't disappoint
I had a bit of an issue last year where all my backpacks have been ripping and bursting at the seams because I overload the living hell out of them. like literally i bought a cheap little backpack from my country's equivalent of walmart, loaded it up and by the time I had gotten to the beach that same day it was already ripping.this backpack so far held up also heavily loaded through a 2 month trip through europe. It was so heavy that one lady who tried to pick up my backpack exclaimed: yeizuz! (jesus!) when she tried to pick it up.so basically, yes this thing will take a beating. and take a lot of weight. i don't think most people haul as much weight on their back as I do so if you're looking to get this thing, rest assured that unless you're carrying enough shit to hurt your back trying to pick up your backpack, it will hold up.

Awesome... awesome... awesome!
Ok... so I have a bad back and use a brace when traveling, especially if I have a backpack on. Just came back from 2 weeks in Italy and used this backpack throughout (streets and stairways of Venice and all). I even had to sprint through the JFK airport with this on my back. I feel perfectly fine after the trip, was able to maneuver around easily with this on my back and was able to stuff it to the brim with clothes, electronics, etc. It is very flexible like a regular backpack since the sides are not sturdy like regular luggage, and the zippers held on for dear life and survived. I also liked the fact that it is not bogged down by compartments that take away needed space. This has been my favorite travel buy recently and will use it from here on out! Great product!

The biggest capacity carry on backpack
I bought two of these back packs to use for a recent family trip to Thailand. They have great storage capacity, though you need to be careful not to overpack them or they might not fit the criteria for airline carry on luggage. We got them in the overhead compartment on our flights to Thailand, but had to check them on the way back. They might have fit but the airline employees insisted. They are pretty comfortable to carry, but not quite as good as a real backpacking bag- I wouldn't want to hike with one of these all day, though I suppose I could if I had to. We walked about a mile max carrying these bags, which served their purpose. We moved around to different places within the country over 2 weeks and they held up well, definitely worth the cost! We packed our own things plus some for our two children, who carried much smaller bags.

Perfect size
The bag is the exact size allowed in the overhead bin. Lots of room inside. Easily 2 weeks of clothes. Large external zipper for laptop. Two small zipper compartments inside. Two on the outside also. Really didn’t have a lot of use for them.

If only it actually looked like the picture...
This "backpack" is big in person. It's basically the size of a carry-on suitcase (dimension-wise) that you can carry on your back. Alas, the advantage of its large capacity is also its downfall, IMO. This bag has 42L capacity, which means when it's packed to the brim, it would be way too heavy to be carried around comfortable for a long period of time. On top of that, because of its rectangle/suitcase like shape/dimension, I found it looked kind of goofy to carry like a backpack. Overall, I think if this bag actually looked like the picture with some type of hard-shell molding, I think I might have kept it. Unfortunately, in person, it's just a soft-fabric shell like most school backpacks. On the plus side, it has plenty of small strategically placed pockets for small items, and the quality of the fabric seems to be decent. It's not a bad bag by any means, especially for a mid-level priced bag, but it didn't meet my need.

A must if you travel with carry on
This is perfect for travelers like myself. No need to drag around a 21 inch suitcase when using buses or trains. Throw this on like a backpack and go. Because it opens like a suitcase, easier to load (use packing cubes) and open when at the dreaded Airport Security checkpoint. I have used it on 4 short trips now, has made travel much easier.
