Starts working right away
This stuff is amazing. I bought one in 2020 and I’m just now ordering my second one. A little goes a LONG way. It is oily and slippery like any ointment but I think it’s good. After I put it on my dogs paws, I wipe the rest on my hands and it’s great! She loves the taste which is a problem but at least it’s safe for her, I just keep her distracted. I use it when her paws get dried and she starts licking them causing them to crack/bleed even more. When I first got it all four paws were cracked so bad they were bleeding and I was desperate. Within 2 days they stopped bleeding and in a week they were perfectly healed. Amazing stuff!

Melts fast
Picture shows how it came, this is what it looked like when I opened it. I kept it despite it looking very clearly used, because there weren’t any sort of residues left by previous users. It melts EXTREMELY fast and a little goes a LONG way, so don’t be too generous! It doesn’t moisturize, but it could make the pads slippery on non-carpeted floors. I apply when my pup is hanging in bed with me and I know she won’t do much walking around!

Starts healing paw pads with first use.
Bought this as our dog's paws were cracked and rough. I was concerned about it having a scent that my allergies would not like but is pretty much unscented. We applied it to his paws and worked it in. The next day the paws were so much softer. Using it multiple days in a row and by day four his paws felt smooth and the pads supple. Shadows gives it four paws up! 🐾🐾🐕🦺

Good for moisturizing but not friendly for paws on tile
Well this is going to be a lengthy but I hope a well informative review. Basically, if you just want a quick opinion: yes it’s good for moisturizing but I wouldn’t recommend for pets who have wasted paws and are struggling to get up.So I originally ordered this because my senior golden retriever was having problems getting up on our tile floors. Her paws were worn out as you can see in the pictures, they were cracked and pinchy. I tried getting her little booties but that didn’t work out so I tried this next since I read that when the paws are worn out it’s good to restore them to regain somewhat of a grip. When I received the product it was a lot smaller than expected but it’s pretty concentrated since it’s essentially a balm. Also, since it’s made of some oils it seems to have maybe melted a bit and shifted around in its container. If you do order this please don’t make the mistake of putting a huge glob on your pets paws. On their nose I guess it won’t be as bad but when I put it on my dogs paws the first time I put wayyyyyy too much she was slipping all over the place and being 13 years old and with hip problems the slipping did not help her cause. It did moisturize and seemed to soothe her a lot. However, after the first mishap I did put only a little bit the next time but she kept slipping. Of course I would wait and do it at night where I knew she wasn’t going to get up until the morning but when morning cane around she looked like she was ice skating. So bottom line. I would recommend for moisturizing purposes but be careful when placing on paws. I wouldn’t recommend for those who have pets in my similar situation. Unfortunately she passed away about two months ago and when I passed by a pet shop to get food for my bird I did see that they sold these little slippers that look like rubber balloons but for the paws of dogs that I think would’ve worked better for her. They seemed like they would adjust and fit to whichever size she needed it to be which was good since the booties I got were too small and too big for different paws. Sorry for the lengthy review, but I’m just trying to do my part and help others with information I wish I knew. If you read through the whole thing, then thank you for tuning in haha.

Great for humans too
I bought this for my dog's paws but used some on some of my dry skin, and it cleared up after a couple of uses. All the ingredients are natural, so I figured I could use them on my skin too.

Short five stars because first order had been used
The only reason I did not give this five stars was because I had to send it back because it was obvious that when I opened it someone had previously used it. I had to return it and order another one which was frustrating, but I am glad I did because this product is amazing!A little goes a long way. It is very greasy so you do need to follow the directions about letting it soak in to your pets paws because my hands were covered in it but it really took care of my little fur babies paws.Normally I wouldn’t bother doing anything to my pets paws but recently she had been running down a hill and skidding to a stop on concrete, repeatedly. It was tearing apart her paws and you could see where a fissure was starting to form on both front paws.I only applied once and it took care of it right away! Not only that but I am very sensitive to smells and this was no issue for me.Plus my dog never even tried licked it off at all so it didn’t bother her either. This is a great product and I will buy it again in the future despite it being a little pricey it was totally worth it. To bad I had a used product the first time around but I was able to return it and get my money back right away so that was helpful in being able to turn around and buy it right away again.Over all it really is five stars.
