Excellent, Safe Treat which Brings Doggie Happiness
My dog LOVES AND LOVES SOME MORE her fish treats. I enjoy hearing her crunching on them while her tail waggles with happiness. They are worth every penny since it's excellent for dog's health and it's from a reputable company and not CHINA ingredients. Like our bodies, you cannot eat junk and expect to be well year's later. My dog eats raw food from a local farm which prepares pet food with premium ingredients. I am careful to not give her treats with added flavor enhancers, artificial colors, and possible China sourced ingredients which killed so many of our pet's.

TERRIFIC DOG TREATS, BUT PRICEY
These are great treats. (Cod skins) Dogs go nuts for them and I feel good about giving them such good nutrition as a treat. The only reason they are getting 4 stars rather than 5 is because they are so darn expensive. Two large dogs get one cod-skin treat every other day. Would love to give them one every day, but at this price point, the budget limits me to one jar per month. It's a great idea for using fishskins from the fishing industry and making super healthy treats for dogs! Ingenious! But just too darn much moola to make them a steady part of the daily diet.

My dog loves these
They have a pretty fishy smell (go figure) but it dissipates pretty quickly once the package is resealed or your dog has eaten the treat. My dog is in LOVE with these treats now, once I opened the lid she started sniffing around, and she seems to really like the crunch, too. I like that they've got the good fish oils, all those omega acids, and that they're so minimally processed that you can still see the fish skins. They say all they do is dry them, and that's what it looks like. They dry them, roll them up, and cut them into crunchy discs.

My pup loves these!
My pup absolutely loves these! She can be a bit of a picky eater so finding her treats and chews can be a bit of a guessing game (not to mention she'll prefer certain brands over others). I try to only feed her natural products, so these fit in perfectly with her diet. I like how it's just dried cod skin, and it's also human grade which is comforting to me. If it's safe for me to ingest, then I know it will be for my baby too. Lastly, I like how they're rolled into disks, they last a little bit longer than other treats. It takes my 40 lb boxer/mix pup a couple minutes to finish one.

Better for bigger dogs
I originally thought the treats would be in strips & was surprised to find they are large disks. Too big for my 20lb mutt, he can't seem to break them up & I have to help him. He much prefers the Beams from Honest Kitchen.

Not what I was hoping for
I have small senior pugs. They love cod skins, so I thought I would try these. There are really no photos in the description so that you can see what they look like. I assumed they would be like the rolled sticks like other brands. Also, the description says that these are good for poodles, dachshunds, and shi-tzus - all breeds the same size as my dogs. These treats are definitely NOT for smaller dogs, especially for seniors missing a few teeth. They are hard as rocks and are about the size of a half dollar coin. Some are 1/2 thick. I had to use a pair of pliers to break them into smaller pieces. I would get about 6 bite size pieces from each rolled treat. If my dogs didn't love them so much I would have returned them. Instead, I spent time making them edible for my dogs.

Quality went downhill
I've been buying these for 2 years now after my usual brand was out of stock. Cod skins are my dog's favorite treat and we go through 2 containers a week. Previously I would have given these a 5 star rating, however since this summer I have gotten about 8 containers where the texture and smell is different and my dog refuses to eat them. Unfortunately it's not returnable and I'm out almost $200. I'm switching to a more expensive brand that is consistently reliable.

Super Healthy Crunchy Treat ;)
Product seems extremely high quality as expected; actually smells really good to me. My 1 year old Collie in still acquiring a taste, thus the 4 stars. It is VERY crunchy, doggie loves this, but a bit crumbly. If you are looking for a super healthy crunchy treat alternative for your best friend this product is worth a try.

She loves them!
The media could not be loaded. I gave her one and when she finished she came and sat down before me for another one. They smell fishy and they obviously taste great!I will keep these as a subscription for sure as they are a reasonable price for the amount and what you get…single ingredient and healthy! They are crunchy and it took my dog no time to eat it. She’s a 100lbs with a pretty strong bite and not much lasts once it gets into her mouth.

Dogs love these!
My dog, and visiting dog friends, love these cod skin treats from Iceland. They are full of good Omega 3's and probably lots of other good things. I see them as a nutritional supplement for dogs and one that they can't resist gobbling down. And coming from the clean waters around Iceland, I figure that they must be a very pure treat. Do they smell like fish? Of course, they do!

They are pretty big pieces!
My dogs really love them, however my only complaint is that the pieces are really big. I tried cutting them in half and they are really really hard. I tried putting them in a plastic bag and smashing them with a hammer to break them up and that sort of worked. I have a big dog and a little dog. The pieces are great for my big dog, but too big for my little dog. They really love them though! It does not have a fish smell.

Crunchy Goodness
Our girl (a Weimaraner/Labrador Hybrid) loves crunchy treats and she is a real fan of fish. These treats check both boxes. They are a bit pricey but she loves them and I use them a little more sparingly than others so a container lasts over a month. I have them on a subscription (which I find very convenient). JB
