I took a risk buying this because I'm a very large plus size (size 28) and really wasn't sure if it would fit me under the arms. I knew it would fit everywhere else because of the measurements, but the armscye (armhole) measurement is not given. I'm delighted that it is a perfect fit. No gapping and not tight either. When a garment fits this way, it means you actually have more freedom of movement because you don't have fabric bunching up and causing restricted movement. It also means that if you wear it in bed, there is nothing under your arms causing discomfort. This is actually how many Victorian and Edwardian garments were constructed. I used to make historically-accurate garments, but due to a spinal injury, I now have difficulty cutting fabric out or sewing so have to buy instead. This was a treasure of a find.It is beautifully soft cotton, made in 4 panels and trimmed with broderie Anglaise. I'm only 5'1", so it comes below my feet and I can wrap them in it, which gives a lovely cosy feel, but it is easy to pick up when walking about so I don't trip on it.I am absolutely delighted with it and will be buying more from this design range/company.

Came on time, a lovely nightgown - not see through, pure cotton and feels fantastic. It's a great lounge dress and you could wear it at the beach over a swim costume. Going to get another one. I'm 5' and medium size just reaches to the bottom of my feet. You feel great in it, it's cool and you feel free and cool...

As soon as I took it out of the well packed cover, I knew that this was a quality item and worth every single penny I paid for it. It was love at first sight.Unlike other sellers who claim their items are 100% cotton, this beautiful nightgown actually is.I looked and felt so glamorous in it, It made me imagine the movie stars of a certain period, floating around their mansions with the fabric billowing behind them, ( I of course don’t live in a mansion, but a girl can dream, can’t she? )It’s so cool and floaty, in fact it looks exactly like the model in the picture. There is so much rich cotton on this delightful gown that in the hot weather, there is no need for any bed clothing at at all, and despite this I didn’t get caught up in the fabric.I’m going to order another one, I love it that much.You really can’t go wrong with it.

I was quite surprised at how heavy this nightgown was. It’s very long, flowy and very comfortable. It’s rather plain— actually really plain, but the amount of fabric used makes up for it. Looks like something out of a Jane Austen novel. I’ve only cold washed it as it’s advised that washing in hot and drying it will shrink the garment. So, it’s cold water and air dry for her!

Masses of fabric, so lovely to wear and very feminine.

I love this nightdress. It’s fun to wear and I’m finding it comfortable to wear during the hot weather.

Very pleased with this product. I like the voluminous shape of the full length nightie. Will purchase the one with long sleeves soon.
