We Dearly Love Ours!!
We could not be more pleased with our Travel 80!! We picked it up before our National Park tour this fall through Great Basin, Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Arches and Canyonlands. We loved the backpack option and the tripod is nicer than any of the ones I use on my Nikon DSLR, so they did not scrimp on that. The lens are fine but we did add a Barlow 2x, moon filter and 32mm into the mix for our use. The backpack is perfect and offers plenty of protection for it. It was in our Jeep bouncing around and not once did I need to readjust our spotting scope. I did keep it wrapped in bubble wrap in the case just to be extra careful! Our kiddos (8) are now hooked on astronomy. We saw Jupiter and (4 moons perfectly), Saturn and its rings, Neptune was a dot but we could! The moon was awesome through this scope! Do yourself a favor stop reading and buy it already!
