Simple Eye Make-Up Remover Pad, 30 Count (Pack of 3)

These eye makeup remover pads are yet another simple and efficient product from the brand... Simple.I'm a big fan of cleansing balms and rarely use makeup removing wipes or pads, but I like to have an option with good ingredients around when I need something quick and convenient (e.g. when traveling, if I go to the gym straight from work).I personally found the pads remove well all make-up, waterproof mascara and brow products included, without extra effort. One pad is sufficient for both eyes, I sometimes use two for the entire face (so I don't need another make-up remover). I actually prefer these to regular make-up wipes because the packaging is so small and compact.The pads have the perfect wetness, I like they are not soaked in solution. The wetness dries out quite fast, but I end up removing the make-up in the meantime.The package comes with 30 quite small pads, with some texture/bumps; the bumps are great for better taking down make-up, but people with sensitive skin might not want to be rough with them. The glue on the flap isn't the best, it loses stickiness quite fast and I really need to be careful it closes well each time. The pads are round and durable, they don't disintegrate when I use them.I have very sensitive eyes, even formulas targeted to very sensitive skin caused me irritation; the Simple pads are very gentle. The pads barely leave any residue on the skin and they are non-drying, but I always wash my face after removing make-up.

Nice size, easy on your eyes if sensitive. They remove eye makeup easily.

I've used Simple's face wipes before and have had no issues with them. I actually prefer them to a lot of the other face wipe brands out there, because they're a bit more gentle on the face and don't smell like a nursing home (looking at you Neutrogena). I thought those were what I was getting when I ordered these, but I guess I didn't really pay attention and ended up getting the eye makeup remover wipes. After the initial "oh crap, I got the wrong thing" surprise of expecting a box of wipes and getting two teeny packs, I decided that even though these weren't want I wanted, they would probably still work.And they do work. They did get all my eye makeup off...it just feels like you're setting fire to your face when you use them. Not only are the pads a pretty rough texture, whatever chemicals are in there felt like they were eating away at my face skin. I had to wipe my eyes with some cold water so they would stop itching/burning.It's insane they're marketing these things as 'sensitive skin'. Unless of course they mean in the sense that your skin will be sensitive after you use these, because you're going to be taking a couple layers of epidermis off with them. Maybe that's what they mean. Ugh.Needless to say, I'm sticking to the regular face wipes from now on. And probably buying at Target instead of Amazon to avoid the confusion.

Overall, I'm happy with these eye makeup remover pads. One of the first things I look for is, do they actually remove eye makeup? I'm happy to report that they do -- even waterproof eyeliner and mascara. I feel that these do a better job than the last product I tried (some La Fresh wipes) at getting all my mascara off.Second, and this is also very important, but they don't sting or cause my eyes to burn. I wear contact lenses and have somewhat sensitive eyes, so I'm always happy when a product is gentle, as these are.I've had the package open for a couple of weeks now and the pads are still plenty damp/wet and show no signs of drying out. The adhesive on the closure is still strong. I don't think I'd leave these for a month or two without using them, but for the short term, the package being open doesn't seem to be a problem. (It seems to me that this particular pouch-like package uses less material than a screw-top jar would, so that's also nice.) These are two-sided and the sides are similar although not identical (one has more of a texture than the other), but you can use one side of the pad for one eye, then flip it and use the other side. They also remove lip stains and lipstick.

My eyes are sensitive and removing eye make up is always a daily concern.I’ve tried other products, in the past, that the packaging promises “for sensitive eyes” but they always seem to fail in some way for me.This one works great !Also, there’s a little texture to the wipes, so it helps to gently remove mascara and eyeliner without having to over rub my eyes, which is truly appreciated!

I've previously used the Simple Micellar face wipes and have always thought they worked well. But I only wear eye make up so I figured I would try these smaller pads instead. They do not work as well. It's nice that they're smaller and a thicker pad but they don't get my eye make up completely off no matter how much or how hard I wipe. And I do not even use waterproof makeup. I will probably not buy these again.

These are reliable and gentle wipes for eye makeup. For daily use and for travel, these are essentials!
