Nissan Altima 1993 thru 2006 Haynes Repair Manual

Lacks a few important details
The Haynes manual is a great book for Do-it-yourselfers. The only problem I've had with this book is that it shows everything for a 2.5 liter Nissan Altima. This isn't a big problem when it comes to changing brakes, but it does cause a problem when looking under the hood. I have a 3.5 liter Nissan Altima and not everything is the same. Even a simple changing of a serpentine belt becomes hard to do, because you expect to see what the book shows and nothing is the same. This is a really good book, but just know that you won't find everything you need if you have a 3.5.

Sorta gets the job done
This is my first repair manual, so take my review with a grain of salt. For all I know, this is as good as it gets. I'm inexperienced and needed help replacing the tensioner on my Altima. This book advised me to remove the alternator first in order to get to the tensioner easier, however it failed to mention that I wouldn't be able to remove the bottom alternator bolt without first removing the coolant bottle, relay box and the frame that the box mounts in. None of this was difficult to remove, but to someone who doesn't do this every day it presented a problem. I bought the book so I could simply follow instructions and get the job done, not to scratch my head and end up winging it anyway. It also did not include a serpentine belt diagram for my particular year/motor, so I had to find one on the internet. These kinds of things are probably no brainers to experienced mechanics, so they would not have a problem with this book.

Not a good example of previous editions
Too many model years @the expense of pertinent information about my 2005 Nissan altima. 1993 thru 2007 allows no room for more specific year model details suchlike the previous 6 books that I have pertaining to the previous vehicles I have owned and relied information about them. My suggestion is that I don't recommend this particular edition of a good book I have used in the past

Perfect Book for DYI
This is a great book for people who like to work on cars themselves. Great for trouble shooting issues.

Packed well
I like how it was packed. It was a gift to my nephew who I hope will put it to good use.

Just buy it new
So in the Haynes repair manual that I purchased, There were wiring schematics pages that had been ripped out of the manual, and naturally it was the ones I needed. Granted, I know the manual was used, and it was only 5 dollars, but it defeated the purpose if the pages that I needed were completely ripped out. So I guess I have to buy a new one anyway which sucks bc I dont want to spend 30 bucks at a store ,I mean that was the whole point of buying it used.

Disappointing manual
This manual covers too many years/model. I own a 2003 6-cylinder altima and had hard time find the relevant stuff. I used two other Haynes manuals before and I actually like them. But this one disappoints.
