Does what I need it to do (heat shrink tubing) and does it well. Seems well built. We'll see how long it lasts, but for now so far so good.

Absolutely works for wire connectors that use solder. Or soldering connectors. Purchased a set of cheap ones on Amazon and bought this specifically for those. The heat shield works great. Thing is tiny and quiet also.I'll update my review if it doesn't last but so far I'm impressed. Other heat guns I used were heavy, clunky, and would burn wire. This is a perfect medium.

Works great. I had problems keeping the metal scraper tool on it, but didn’t use those on my last ones, so really not an issue.

This small and easy to use for heat shrink tubing and for connecting 1/4 inch drip tubing when the connection is a bit large. Also used it for putting new fittings on garden hoses when the hose is stiff making it difficult to push the new fitting into the hose.

After trying to use lighters and large heat guns, this little guy was phenomenal at wire shrink sleeves Perfect perfect perfect! Strongly recommended for electronics shrink sleeve wiring applications.
