No its an astringent for skin use. Nice for cleaning an oily face or scalp. Has no smell. Typical after shave has alcohol and is scented. This has some essential oils and salicylic acid.

I purchased the Original with primary ingredients include denatured alcohol, glycerin, bernzoic acid, camphor, clovce, eucalyptusoil parfum, yellow 5 geen 5, and orange 5 as active ingredients. Been using for over 50 years after being introduced to the wide uses when it was a product used in my aunt's beauty shop and would purchase from a beauty supply.

Q: Is the opening of the bottle supposed to be sealed? My item arrived unsealed.

Mine also arrived unsealed. Had leaked all over the postman's car. I left a message on my order on Amazon website but never got a reply. Will have to contact them when I need to reorder.
