GEAR AID Tenacious Tape Ripstop Repair Tape for Fabric and Vinyl, 3” x 20”, Off-White (10696)

Tape is extremely versatile and holds well especially to Goretex. I used it to patch some rather large holes and used the tape on the inside and outside of a bivy bag. Material also appears waterproof and the edges, when rounded, do not peel up. Will be using this on all my outdoor and Goretex equipment.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. While installing the pole for the rain fly, it slipped out of my hand and put a hole in my tent. Ordered this and it was super simple to use and has held up great so far. Highly recommend!

excellent stuff. i came close with a color match; a few more light brown choices would have been better. it also tends to stick to itself easily and is nearly impossible to separate. but if you keep it opened up, it sticks like crazy. i am impressed with that. dont know yet how it hold up in the sun, has only been a month or so. i have sued it several times now to patch fraying areas of my airplane cover
