The mic itself has a mini-XLR 3-pin female plug (TA3M). It plugs into the supplied AT8538 Power module which is an in-line power module, with bass roll-off. This power module has an XLRM 3-pin plug that plugs into any mic preamp with XLR female socket that has Phantom Power.
