The screen was super easy to assemble and didn’t take very long to put together. It looks really good on the wall and it saves space in the family room as well. The picture quality is really good also when displaying the image from my projector, granted I have a decent projector that is a true 4k laser. I highly recommend this screen for any room that you may want to place this in your home. Great quality and decent price.

I had a retractable projection screen before this and let me tell you: get this.The screen on the retractable always had creases, was never straight, and didn't seem to have the same quality. This one was super easy to put together (took me about 30 minutes to build and hang by myself) and is leaps and bounds better than my last one.The black felt around the edges is nice and the screen is a fantastic quality. I am noticing a huge difference in colors and black levels.10/10, highly recommend.

The screen is great! I already have a portable Elite Screen so I was familiar with the quality.I will say that you need to be very careful with the black skin around the edge while assembling or you will end up like me and have scuffs in it. Not a big deal, but you want it to be perfect. Also, it is not easy to assemble. The springs are a massive headache, but they are what keep the screen itself taut, so they are a necessary evil. BTW, don't do like I did and stand it up against a door handle. I was terrified when I went back to it and saw the bump in the screen, but it immediately disappeared.For what it's worth, this was shipped to me on Guam and it was packed well enough to survive being on the ship for weeks. Would definitely buy again.

Bought this coming from a 150" polyester stretch screen that's all over amazon. The difference isn't night and day but what you're getting is worth the cost if it matters to you.The benefits over a stretch screen are:*Better image clarity - the PVC makes images look sharper because it's more uniform*No light bleed - The black backer to the screen ensures no light bleeds through the back*Thick black border - Makes it look more refined and hides any minor misalignment between the projector and screenCompared to DIY it's going to cost you a bit more than if you were to get the screen material and build the frame but consider how much time you'll put into building, stretching, stapling, and then wrapping the felt around - a two person job and well over the ~1 hr timeframe to completely assemble this screen. The screen can be removed from the frame and rolled up since the hooks are pretty easy to remove - a good feature to have if you need to move.Overall it's a good screen but not without some gripes*Aluminum pieces are rough cut, require the tension on the screen and 4 corners to be assembled to be relatively square.*The EliteScreens Logo on mine was not aligned horizontally which looks weird but you can't see it when at watching distance with the lights out*My screen felt material came damaged (looks like it was stretched to thin and split at the edge) - filled it in with a marker rather than return*Compared the other brands on Amazon (1 that is supposedly owned by the same company) and another that is a generic Chinese company - this is the most expensive one -although probably exactly the same manufacturer.

I watched a YouTube video before assembling. It took about 2 hours mainly because the printed directions were a little confusing. They implied the wall brackets need installed above and below. They only go at the top of the frame. I upgraded from a $50 Yangood wall screen and the difference was night and day. The only thing the directions really missed. The top of the screen part of the frame is 1/4 of an inch below the bottom of the bracket. I would definitely recommend this if you're wanting a fixed frame screen.

Purchased the 135 inch Star Frame Elite Screen from Amazon. Product was packaged very well, and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was straight forward and not too difficult, would advise you make sure you have the correct instructions included...check for the center support and that what is in instructions matches what was shipped. If you install all of the tension springs you will not be able to install the center support, and removing the springs is harder than putting them on. Wish the holes on the mounting brackets were a little closer together, they are spaced too far apart to hit one 2x4 stud, so you are going to have one in stud and one in just drywall. To be fair, the intent is to be in drywall, I just prefer to use studs for a stronger mount. A longer bracket with two holes 1 inch apart, and two more 3 inches apart would be a great improvement. Screen compliments the Optoma 50UHD perfectly and extremely pleased with video quality. Screen is made of high quality material, both frame and screen, and should provide years of service. Would highly recommend to others reviewing screens to go with Elite. As mentioned above, I did receive the wrong instructions for my screen, but a call to Elite Customer Service was all it took to correct and the follow through was very thorough and prompt, which is a key to understanding how good a company really is.
